why doesn't dl184 just buy scarer's debt at 90 cents on the dollar right now? i'm sure investors would take it since their expectation is much closer to $0, and he could make a few quick Gs...if he's so sure it's getting paid back right away.

I just offered to buy all his debt and he refused as he wants to pay everyone off himself.. which is fair enough. Like i said, i know the guy personally and he is cool and you will get your money. Scarer has now rejected two offers from others to buy his debt.

Since I have good friends tied up in this mess/ Im going to give Scarer till next monday to come up with a payment plan! If he does not start paying out or get this sorted out

David - we have all been patient up to this point however we are all close to the end of our tether. Please ensure you don't let us down this time and actually get this fixed. Your friend is mostly ignoring everyone in this thread, He takes a trip to AC that he doesn't tell anybody about, his stars account magically becomes frozen and then on top of this hes the victim of a nasty gang mugging. He doesn't seem to have any good excuse for not being in this thread more often than he has busy. He has told people multiple times they will be paid and haven't. I don't think the thread is way out of line, I think your friend is way out of line. If this gets sorted then fine but scarer has noone to blame but himself here and you should be worrying about your friends actions alot more than this threads content. not gonna post in here again but hope it all gets sorted

Are you kidding? Let's list the ways that Scarer handled this badly.

1) Sold action at different markups in different threads
2) Sold VERY high percentages of action without letting people know. It's conceivable that he had events where he oversold/swapped (more than 100%)
3) Never once told his backers that he had a trip planned through the end of July (now well into August) and that backers would be waiting for payouts until then at a minimum
4) Has repeatedly failed to meet any of his promises (starting with PMing people which never happened and following on to the fact that he was supposed to be home over a week ago)
5) Didn't have the money to play events but had the money to go traveling all over the East Coast drinking and having fun. Most likely on OUR money
6) His summaries have consistently been off from how many events he did/didn't play and how much he owes his backers
7) Has refused not one but TWO offers by other people to pay back for him
8) Continues to tell lies and stories and makes excuses which is the EXACT behaviour of someone scamming/rolling. His Stars account is locked? Sorry, don't believe it. Show email history and proof. (Stars doesn't lock an account for transferring without play, they just don't let you cash out). He was mugged? Sorry, don't believe it. Copy of the police report will do. If no copy, it's another bald faced lie.
9) Numerous shill accounts have come in here defending him, almost certainly at his request and to continue stalling and deflecting the action.
10) Lied about not having internet access (yeah, something that is SO hard to get anywhere in the US) especially when he was logged on here 12 hours before (but of course didn't respond to anyone).

Fairly soon this thread title will be changed to something like "David Kilpatrick is a scammer and thief" which WILL show up in Google searches and the like and will continue to haunt him for a long time to come. This is aside from any legal action that backers decide to take. Telling us to wait and be patient is just GTFO time now.

If you are a friend and not just a sock puppet, I suggest you let him know that.

I dno how well u know David but your posts in here have been pretty ridiculous and rude. The package was cancelled 2 months ago and David has posted updates 3 times and has failed to meet all his own deadlines. So I think investors have every right to be angry wether they are eventually paid back or not.

I'm also hearing that he was playing 10-20 40 NLH in the balagio an that he is known for losing 3k at blackjack when he is drunk. So it's not looking great. However we will know for sure next few days.
