My name is Rich Barrett. I am 50 years young, I drive around the country delivering freight and play as much poker as possible. I played about 10,000 tournaments online and live. Over, 100 live tournaments in the last year or so. Most were just Daily Donkaments in the $50 to $125 range. However, over 30% ITM and am able to subsidise my driving income.

This package will be for 50% of my action with no mark-up. I cannot confirm exactly what tournaments I will be playing because I never know where I am going to be. So it is easier to just roll this way. If this package raises $200 we have a $400 package and will be for my first $400 in tournaments in August. $2500 raised my next $5000 in tournaments. Any investment is accepted and once this package raises $2500 will consider sold out and will start immediately. Will start August 1st otherwise.

I will say this, if under $1200 is raised I will be letting freight dictate where I am and what I play. Over $1200 I will let the tournaments dictate more of my location. I will put a list of tournaments/series I would to try and get to in August at the bottom of the page.

Crazy week or so since i have posted this. This is my first opportunity to sit down, get online and update this package.

Pushing back the start date on this until Sunday the 5th midnight EDT or we hit $2500. Not sure when I will play my next one, waiting on a load out of Denver at the moment. Depends on freight

Why would you want to invest in a "recreational" player when you have a lot of proven pro's to invest in?

1) Because it is going to be a great story. "I invested in Rich way back when he was still driving for a living"
2) You are helping to promote the game, I will also commit to investing in up and coming players in the future.
3) With a multi tournament package like this, I cannot guarantee a win but I will have more winning months than losing months (based on past performance) and in a losing month it will be very very unlikely you would lose your entire investment. Possible but unlikely. I play tournaments I know I can do well in. I may be able to provide the balance some of you need, kinda like your slow growth Blue Chip Stock.
4) I update well and will try to make the journey a bit entertaining. I do not need to do this to play, it sure seems like it would a lot more fun with you on the rail. It will also allow me to play just a bit larger than I normally would.
