Look guys to make things a bit clearer, as one of the original investors

- My investment had nothing to do with 2+2, I invested OUTSIDE of the marketplace,
so resolving or speaking on my behalf is not that appropriate
- Nick has maintained contact with me the entire time. Very understandable
that if he hasn't got the $ to pay immediately , he will need time to get back grinding
in another country.
- He is doing that now,and paying back in chunks

Although i'm not defending what he has done, i'm saying the reaction wasn't very
helpful for any party, he did not disappear off the earth or avoid the situation
at any time,
any remarks you have to say to nick rainey are selfless and not related to the
Main Event investment we made

Entim, he deleted all forms of contact after LYING bout playing the ME. How can you say he didnt fall off or attempt to vanish? Maybe not for you who he speaks with on a personal basis, but those who did this through the marketplace were quickly losing ways to get in touch with him.

Also, did he let you know right away that he didn't play? Along with putting pressure on Nick to pack back what is owed, I think most of us are posting here over the general BS that Nick has put out and the fact that he basically used money for one purpose to fund something else. This is usually considering stealing or fraud even if it is paid back at a later date. He also said that a close person to him died and he said this is why he didn't play in the WSOP ME. This is the excuse that he gave on quadjacks a couple of months ago. This appears to be utterly false if you look at this as a whole. He also said in that interview that he paid everyone back and they later partially corrected him and said it was only one guy. Basically, our disgust is about him not paying back WSOP ME investors right away but also the deception that Nick has used and also his previous history like with the charity, money owed to former business partners and backers, etc. I think most of us are posting to draw attention to his inconsistencies and prevent him from getting away with this in the future along with helping the investors get their money back.

On a side note, lol that Nick has gone out of his way so hard to pay google to continue pushing his fails lower and lower on the search results. Basically everything above his pictures are what he's paying google each month to keep as top search results regardless how many hits this thread gets. And I'm sure this was paid for with YOUR money or another investor from another scam.

I havent backed nick since black Friday. Nor did I have a piece in any wsop stuff. Nick owes me a little money, but has been in constant contact since it happened and has made payments.

I offered to stake him a few weeks ago, to help him get out of debt if he needed it, but he said he thought he could pay ppl back faster if he played smaller on his own. It he made the right decision.

I am not bff's with nick or anything but I has little doubt he will get this wsop stuff settled as soon as he can. He's stayed in contact with me the whole time. I really don't know much about his other issues before now, so can't really comment.

So your saying you getting paid back is more important then stopping him from future scams? Lets sweep it under the rug until you get paid back.

He's banned for one thing.

That didn't stop him from making a new account to sell shares after his old account was banned. If he really wanted to post he could, after all he's in a new country. Also I am pretty sure the reason he was banned was because of this incident..

I Really don't understand ppl who have dealt with Rainey(online friends with him or w/e) sticking up for him at all. All it does it make yourself look bad imo. There is no excuse for his actions. It doesn't matter if he pays every penny back (i hope he does!), his rep is ruined(again).

Do you think it's just coincidence that you started getting paid AFTER the website went live? The dude "unfriended" you. Do you think he did that so he could pay you back faster?

If you were so sure he was going to pay you back why even make any posts in this thread. You come off really bad here for defending Nick and getting mad at people that were trying to help you.

It would look VERY bad if you were backing this guy during this time; taking and giving money to and from him whilst owing 2+2 members lots of $. You being a moderator here would make it 10x worse as well.. glad you came in a gave us an honest response.
