This is how it's supposed to work; posters shouldn't be told who reported them. I can't guarantee 100% that it would never happen since mods are volunteers and of course mistakes happen, but I will mention this again in the mod forum to try and help with it. Post reporting is definitely a big tool in the Marketplace so we'd appreciate the help. While we don't want to be inundated with reports over silly stuff, when in doubt, report it IMO. Just keep in mind you won't often get a direct response to a post report, but if it's important to you you're welcome to follow up with a mod of the forum in question to find out what, if anything, happened. Depending on the situation, it's possible we won't be able to share everything with you, but we'll do what we can.

I'm looking into this some more. This whole thing seems to be something of a communication issue that I'm working to improve in the mod forum. It seems we have mods with different pieces of information that weren't shared. Ideally, that's what user notes are for, but unfortunately people get busy and this doesn't always happen the way we'd like.

Keep in mind that no one actually had to give him permission to start the account, he may have just gone ahead and done so.

Sounds like this was exactly what happened; Bunner requested a red give the account an undertitle to avoid any confusion. Of course there'd be no reason to check out the FWB account at that time, but even if it had been looked at, if it was early on, there was nothing to discover since there were no IP matches.

Qualifying statement about this post-I hope I am wrong and these are my assumptions based on what has gone on here and in the past and what I have heard from people involved with Nick and formerly involved with Nick.

This is obvious to most but I figured I would say it anyways. If Nick's "emergency" story (unless it was a robbery) were likely true, then cash or a PayPal transfer, wire transfer, Western Union/MoneyGram, eCheck, branch deposit into a bank account, etc. could have easily been taken care of over a week ago so it seems obvious he is "working on" raising funds through selling his stuff and coaching and it strongly appears like he no longer has the funds given to him and he used them for something else. I just hope people don't forget this when he makes up more excuses like he has in the past (or will you finally tell the truth, Nick?).

Hopefully you have learned your lesson this time. You have received funds from investors for other major tournaments, too, like the PCA that you did not play in and many of your investors had to wait for their money then, too because you claimed PokerStars would not give it to you. Maybe that was true (but now I am not so sure) or did you do the same thing but you just got caught this time?

I sincerely hope you will "work on" getting that last ~$2100 to the Children's Hospital of Oakland, too. In addition, I hope you "work on" paying back Bodeye, Aaron Hill, Josh T., Paul K. (and his friends), other former students (and they are out there), the IRS, other 2+2'ers, and everyone else that I haven't heard of. There is nothing wrong with debt but the way you incur yours is way different than most.

I knew you would chime in, lol. I just did not know it would be so soon. You have a weird obsession defending Nick and talking trash about and to other people on 2+2 (not just related to Nick). I have seen it many times. You and Nick seem like you were meant for each other and I just wish you would keep it private and off 2+2 but it is not my forum. Is it kind of weird that he took my donation of over $5K that was supposed to go to a children's hospital and kept it (until he finally donated $4K after it was made public and he still owes $2.1K) and I am furious about it? I would think most people would be except for people like you. You seem like a real jerk and you did then too (when the charity thing came out) and could give a **** about those kids not getting that money. And, he also did the same with other people's donations. Also, I promised Nick that I would not go away until he made 100% good on the donations and I am keeping my word. Also, I am very upset about this and the fact that he owes my friends money. I did not post anything on here for months and months, too so whatever, dude. Zima, just shut up already.
