The funny thing is 2+2ers only know about 10% of the scamming hes done, and most of the stuff you do know you dont know all the details.

If he had an emergency minutes before cards were in the air why didn't he post here and on Twitter immediately? No contact made with his investors yet on 7/11 and 7/12 he was putting items for sale in the marketplace before finally posting in here early morning 7/14? Come on...

Did investors know about the charity scam allegations (among other allegations of shadiness)? I mean I know stories can get twisted quickly on the internet and it's hard to seperate fact from fiction at times but seems like there were plenty of people selling shares who were far less risky.

You find it strange that im trying to help? Pretty sure in a community like this w so much money changing hands and little to no contracts regarding that money it's everyone's duty to make sure things are right if they have any control.

He has 2% of my friend. If he clearly owes people money i feel it's my obligation to not hand his piece over to him but rather to the people he owes. I agreed w you that he likely doesn't have the money to pay back right now hence the other thread of him selling off a bunch of ****.

Nick has a personality that draws people in. Looshle is just talking from his experience which is always great in the beginning.

I don't understand that defense either. Didn't he call you a "f@cking loser" on Twitter last summer/fall? Did you miss that? If someone did that to me, I certainly wouldn't be defending him.

Even good players have lots of friends that they vouch for end up being cheats/scammers. Sometimes they know in advance sometimes they don't.

you totally ignore the fact that the tweet is intentionally vague to imply he busted the main without saying that he busted the main, sounds like he probably sold 500% of himself and skipped town hoping he wouldn't get caught with the "family emergency" angle if he was

Yep, it is pretty sad. I tried to tell people to be careful with him and a lot of people listened but there were many people who didn't. Regardless of the outcome with this Main Event thing, as far as I can tell, he left Vegas with all of his investor's money. OK, it was an emergency. I have no problem with that but why did it take someone else to say that he had not played for him to admit it and this is a few days later? In the meantime, he makes some ambiguous posts on Twitter that indicate that he might have played and got knocked out; however, they are not clear but clearly he doesn't say on Twitter that he didn't play or will be returning his investors' money. Also, in the meantime, he put a bunch of stuff up for sale in the marketplace before he even admitted to not playing.

Further, as of Friday afternoon, I have seen no posts with anyone reporting that they got their money back yet and Day 1D was 5 days ago. At a minimum, this is not kosher and he should have immediately said that he didn't play and the money would be returned shortly. This definitely does not surprise me at all and I hope that people get their money back ASAP unlike FullTilt victims and the Children's Hospital of Oakland and maybe even the breast cancer awareness group (this is speculation but I would like to see proof of that donation).

Bottom line-Nick, please get off the drugs!!! If anyone needed Jesus or Buddha or whatever, it is Nick.

I'm not sure if you have a reading comp. problem or a learning disability. I didn't once in that post say I was defending him. I said I had defended him in the past and this whole thing is really pissing me off for doing so (previous post said this whole thing made me disappointed, but it all boils down to the same thing.) Me defending him in the past and **** going down like this makes MY reputation look bad, so yes, I'm pissed. I am in no way defending what happened here and am hoping all investors get their money back ASAP, which is why I asked Zima to update this thread as soon as he had any info.

Nick has made good for at least Charder and I. Obviously I'm not happy about what went down and I certainly won't be investing in Nick again but I am pleased to say that he got the money back to me pretty quickly.

I understand the frustration Shawn. I do feel I did the right thing not playing, would not have been fair because I would not have been able to play my best and give you the best shot at making money. I paid 10% fee for the trouble as my way of saying sorry.

That's fine of course but the ambiguity of your tweet combined with your lack of updating in this thread and any of your investors that you were not playing certainly doesn't leave me with a good impression.
