you must have missed this then (which is in the same post)...
Yep, it is pretty sad. I tried to tell people to be careful with him and a lot of people listened but there were many people who didn't. Regardless of the outcome with this Main Event thing, as far as I can tell, he left Vegas with all of his investor's money. OK, it was an emergency. I have no problem with that but
why did it take someone else to say that he had not played for him to admit it and this is a few days later? In the meantime, he makes some ambiguous posts on Twitter that indicate that he might have played and got knocked out; however, they are not clear but clearly he doesn't say on Twitter that he didn't play or will be returning his investors' money. Also, in the meantime, he put a bunch of stuff up for sale in the marketplace before he even admitted to not playing.
Further, as of Friday afternoon, I have seen no posts with anyone reporting that they got their money back yet and Day 1D was 5 days ago. At a minimum, this is not kosher and he should have immediately said that he didn't play and the money would be returned shortly. This definitely does not surprise me at all and I hope that people get their money back ASAP unlike FullTilt victims and the Children's Hospital of Oakland and maybe even the breast cancer awareness group (this is speculation but I would like to see proof of that donation).
Bottom line-Nick, please get off the drugs!!! If anyone needed Jesus or Buddha or whatever, it is Nick.
