Hey Gang,

I’d like to sell (40-60p) this year for this bad boy given the absurd volatility this tournament yields. Been playing for 10 years or so, started online playing sngs and mtts, lived with BigBluffzinc and Frenzuh for some time where we ran a successful online stable prior to Black Friday.
Currently, living in Vegas for 4+ years playing cash full time. Given the expierience Ive accumulated in both live/online has helped me build a well rounded skill set to succeed in this format. I believe I have a good balance of applying the applications side of the game (GTO) as well as live intangibles of not playing GTO when applicable.
If I do play, will be the first time all summer step foot in the Rio. Wanted to give mysef a fresh start over field by not burning out prior to day 1 start. Thanks for looking, gl rest of summer any other questions feel free to PM or text.

2p (min) - $250
5p - $625
10p - $1,200 (discounted MU)

Able to do cash in Vegas, Venmo, Paypal. Only reserves for now, will send a PM two days before July 4th. Playing day C, highest volume day yields the lowest volatile table draws imo.

So took note of key hands played through out the day. Wanted to give investors an idea of what your buying into. Not going to do this going forward for obvious reasons... first part are hand histories in respective levels up to level 4 (phone died midway level 5). Analysis quickly follows in parenthis.

Level 1

First hand off deck, mp 350 me call button A6hh blinds call flop QTThh c to me $1k sb call. Turn Jd c/c. River 2h, sb 1.7k, me 4.2k sb 14k. Fold.

(Sizing was a bit small on the river given how many full houses we both have in this spot. Still think population calls with worse and doesn’t rebluff enough to warrant this decision. Looking back on the hand, realized villain was incapable of bluffing a naked T here and as gross as it seems pretty sure he just had quads here.)

First impression lag 350 mp call A3hh button bb calls flop A86cxc, 550 call, bb fold turn Tx 1k me 3k call river 4c. Lead 8.8k fold.

(Like raising turn Ip vs villain. Has too many pair straight combos and flush draws here where liked raising for value IP vs his perceived range even this early on in the tournament.)

Ep raise to 400 mp call button call me call bb 44hs flop K74dxd c or 700 mp call me 3k or fold mp call turn 2d c/c river Ad c/c.

(Liked c turn here oop vs this guys range. Felt like his naked Kings are folding. Granted miss value vs his strong Kings with diamond but vs villain liked c more and deciding. Thought river was to thin to value different diamond I woulda bet).

Raise early JTsd after a 6d gets exposed to 400. Stationery reg defends bb. Flop Kd 7c 6s. Bb c/c 500. Turn 9c. Bb c/c 2.5k. River 7c. C/c bb has AKhd

(Decided to give up specifically on this river after overbetting turn. Combination of 6d getting exposed and him having some Kxcc combos decided to abort from my original plan of poling river. Really liked OB turn vs this villain considering how much pressure I’ve already put on him specifically up to this point. Thoughts there was a decent chance I’d get some weak Kong’s to fold a street early to this sizing and his if he decides to continue his pair straight draws gonna put him in tough spot on river. Ended up working out considering he flatted TOR here but coulda lost a big bet on different river texture.

Level 2

Ep 700 me call hj KdTc bb call. Flop 943dcd C/C/ me 1.2k bb call. Turn Tc c me 3k call. River 7d. C/c. We beat 88

(Again, awful river was blasting all blanks. Felt good about villain ranging me to overs/diamonds a lot where 9x I think is c/c a lot of rivers. Fact that he peeled turn with 88 solidified that read.)

Level 3

Utg 700, sb call, hero QJcd call bb. Flop J42sss. C, c, 2k fold call. Turn 2c. C/c. River 6h. Hero 5k utg +15k call (66).

(I’d almost always fold to reraise in this spot seeing that population just never bluffs here. Given run out and villains perception of me not having a J here, made me think his propensity to bluff a big spade here was and could be higher then normal. Up to this point he’s done a lot of things in big pots that don’t necessarily make sense he was only player at this table I’d call river raise against. Felt gross to be shown 66) g

Utg +1 700, +1 call hero call sb AcTs bb call flop Tc 8d 2c. Hero lead 2k fold, fold, original flatter calls turn 4d. Hero 4K, call river 2x hero 10k call shown 9s9c.

(River was close between c/c and bet/f. Reason I b was felt like I was always getting called by weaker Tx as well as 8xcc. Thought there were way more combos of a bluff catcher then JJ+ and given my read on entire table is lack of bluffing with BOR decided betting was way better.)

Hero MP 9d9x 1k button calls, tight reg 4.5k call fold. Flop 943xdd. Bb 4K hero 15k call. Turn Ks. Bb c hero AI 35k eff. Villain folds.

(Like raising flop more then calling given my image and how narrow heros range is. Gonna lose a lot of value on later streets when D comes plus I don’t have that many sets in my perceived range so think it’s possible for him to just jam here. On this turn texture feel as if he’s calling off enough with dry aces and AKdd for me to take any other line here. To much of my combo range is also jamming on this turn so like having 99 here for value.

Level 4

Active tilted reg raise 1k. Call mp KJcc. Sb 3k call call flop A97scc. Turn 4s. C, 4.5k call. River 4h. C. C back. aQss

(Couple options here, original raiser has shown propensity to c nutted hands so opted for c back. Be more inclined to b/c vs the stacks in the hand if A was c decided this was a fine c back for deception and vision. On river vs tilted Or likes c this hand in that don’t see him ever folding Ax here and can possible have a ton of weaker draw give ups. Decided bluffing my sooted JTs were way better candidates which c worked out.)

Lag utg+1 1k, utg+1 call, utg+2 hero call 89ss. Utg+4 3k everyone call. Flop 652sxx c c c 5k fold fold hero call. Turn 3x hero 13k. OR fold.

(Just a spot I’m emptying turn and river footed flop to bluff 3/4/6 due to ORs lack of perceived board coverage. High volatile but like it given this tourney and amount of pressure can apply)

Hero 86hh utg 1.2k bb call flop A35 hxx c, 2k call. Turn 7h c/c river 9c 6.8k jam 28k effective call 77.

(Felt like villain was c/j a ton on turn didn’t wanna get denied equity here with draw. Hand is very disguised against TOR of villain implied. Glad I c turn to realize equity got

Heading into day 2 with 140k. Glgl us!

Out. Was freerolling already today vs big stack where he missed a river shove where was c/c with worse. On 62274 in single raise spot. Bust out hand folded to me on CO with KThh and 16bbs. BB was away from the table and sticky massive stack in sb. Jammed he woke up with QQ and held.

Easily best year I’ve played from start to finish in main. Took to many beats and coolers to withstand a decent run even in an event as good as this. THanks to all that invested and gl with rest of your sweats still in. -matty
