With a nice hat-trick of live events coming up from the end of this week I’m going to hit up the £1k at DTD w £500k GTD then head down to Luton for the GUKPT w £200k guaranteed too although they’ve been smashing the guarantees recently.
I will head down to Aspers in London for the 888 Festival Main Event if we don’t make it through in Luton which has a huge £400k guarantee also.
Although I haven’t played a great deal of live poker this year I bubbled (QQ<AA for chiplead to eventual runner up) the huge runner Grand Prix at DTD a few months back after finishing chip leader of all UK casino flights thus winning a small Vegas package from Party Poker. Alongside this I shipped the only weekly tournament I have played at VGC in Leeds this year and also swung down to Coventry for the GUKPT Goliath which I also cashed.
Historically I have a fantastic record in UK live events; I am a former GUKPT Champion and on top of that one of their annual Champion of Champions. I finalled GUKPT Leeds in the last one I played sadly going from 1/5 to out in 5th and have cashed all but one GUKPT I’ve ever played. I have extensive experience of playing up to nosebleed cash live in the past and know that I have a huge edge in these events.
