I'm not a random guy, i'm an active buyer here. Correctly was, bcz there aren't enough of favourable offers recently. Marketplace becomes inadequate, not without Galen's efforts. Players protecting their possibilities to sell with overestimate markups. Especially EPT winners doing this very actively Of crz, it's really easy after big winning to believe in "roi going to the sky" and to convince of it others.
Of course, i havent a purpose to break your sale Galen, but i have rights too, for protect my interests as investor. I wrote my thoughts, you dont agree with me - ok ok This is my last post here.

Rights? Get off your high horse, this is a free market. If the market drives markups too high for you to buy then don't, leave markup discussions to separate threads this is not the place to do it.

I mean Staker is a semi regular buyer here, but that doesn't mean he isn't completely clueless. I doubt he even plays in events like this, nor does he have any idea what true ROIs are. I'm not defending Galen's markup, (it's kinda high, but still fairly decent value IMO) but Staker indeed needs to get off of his high horse.

I'm not going to comment on the package just going to say that your last part doesn't make much sense. In a free market, if people think a service someone is offering is overpriced, or unfair, they can write question or criticize it so other people (possibly more naive) can either learn from their opinions, or become more informed about their own. That's why consumer reports revolutionized shopping.

I think people should be able to criticize or question markups in the marketplace in the thread they are listed.

According to my tracking spreadsheet, I've bought shares of 71 different packages in the last 3 months totaling ~$150k. So, what does that make me?

not going to criticize cause its a free market, but staker does have a point here if something like this sells it sort of hurts future marketplace prices if comparable level players start upping their mark up.

As an outsider, I am genuinely interested in randomness and therefore this is not meant to be inflammatory. Can you define your edge (not quoting results) over those who are +ev in WPT, EPT and WSOP events. You are obviously aware of randomness but Taleb says everyone is fooled by it. Is your discipline better; do you assess ranges better; do you know unique situations better; are you able to incorporate metagame better? You owe no explanation but I would love to hear a couple of sentences other than 'I am a beast; I have lots of experience; look at my results'. You can't really argue that if you taught and staked 1000 2+2 trolls/capuchin monkeys (I chose them as they're awesome), one of them would have your results. Good luck - hope you smash it.

Anyway, this thread is getting pretty off topic, which is pretty annoying.

I felt like I was pretty explicit when I said that my markups are high as **** and the only reason I'm selling anything is just to try to avoid freerolling myself on taxes for this year. It's becoming too much of a hassle very quickly, selling for a bunch of events that I can definitely play anyway.

It's clearly a nonstandard package in many ways, it's kind of annoying having people who buy 1/10th as much action as me in the MP whine that somehow this is gonna create a paradigm shift in the marketplace for action selling.

Anyway, 31 shares sold so far. I'll let this run for a couple more days, then lock.
