I reached out to one of my old students this past year and have been studying content by one of the best online players in the world. I haven't played much in past year but I feel better about my game than when I won the WSOP chicago circuit main.

I'm a closer...I live for pressure situations. Played collegiate level tennis, grinded poker, trading, and DFS for the past 15 years.

Busted day 3. Peaked at around 220k yesterday. made big mistake getting in 60BB with AK. I had been very active. 1-2k blinds, 3 bet OG MP2 4.8kopen from SB to 17k. He makes it 60k and I shoved for rest. Thought I could discount AA based on sizing and non 0 chance he either folds JJ/QQ. He wasn’t super nit from what I saw at the tables for an hour but that should have been easy laydown.

Got it up to 150k today and then lost big pot with AK to AQ. I 3 bet Gboro open from BTN. Was my 3rd 3 bet in 2 orbits. Get flatter by SB with 100k. Gboro folds. 810j board, SB leads 1/4 pot. I call. Turn 8 check check, river 9 he bets 1/5 pot I fold and he confirms AQ.

I dont like my turn check since I had him pegged on AQ and charging for draw better than checking and calling blank rivers if I don’t think he’s type to make big bluff.

From there got down to 90k and fired 3 barrels with turn Nut flush draw and ran into flopped set. Prob could have saved bet on river.

The last of it got in 10s to Ks super short. Was happy with my play besides those 2 spots above.
