POKER BIO

I am 31 years old, live in San Diego, Ca and have been playing poker on the side for over 10 years now. I am extremely passionate and competitive when it comes to poker and I take the game seriously. I am a patient player who knows strategically when to pick my spots and when to change gears. I have a good intuition for the game and ability to read my opponents strengths and weaknesses, along with having a grasp on poker mathematics to give me an extra edge as well. I have also been studying the game avidly with vids, books (favorite author is Jonathan Little), articles, and hand history reviews; but most importantly, time at the tables.

I have honed my skills during the past several years by going to Vegas to play in the WSOP Series (2 prelim events min each year) and side events that go on around the same time that have a higher caliber of players; while studying the game off the felt. I also play in live tournaments at my local casinos regularly. Currently, I have final tabled the last 6 $50 WSOP Main Event Qualifiers I have played at one of my hometown casino’s (Sycuan) and cashing 4 out of the 6 ft’s. I have locked up a stack + full stack of bonus chips for May 30th’s semi-final day one and will be looking to lock up another semi-final day one (can get up to 6), plus bonus chips, from now until May 25th. 60 players move on to the finals to battle for a 10k seat into the WSOP Main Event + 1k spending cash, and a prizepool on top of roughly 10k. The field is soft with a lot of regulars, so I fair well. I am playing this weekly (if schedule permits) to keep my game fresh and on point. Lastly, I feel since the WSOP Main Event has the best structure in the world, this will favor my patient, tight, and aggressive playing style, and give me a better chance to last in this grudge match of all grudge matches of poker, “The WSOP Main Event.” I am feeling super optimistic this year!

CASHES

I have cashed in several live events, which are noted online-thehendonmob: http://pokerdb.thehendonmob.com/player.php?a=r&n=133716. Some haven’t been noted online, due to being casino daily tournament events at the Aria, Rio, Venetian, and at my local Indian Reservations.

• Aria- Roughly, $5,500 in winnings from the $125 daily’s (biggest cash in one was $2900 for 2nd in about a 300 player field)
• Rio- Roughly, $1,500 in the Deep Stacks side events (prior to counting for G.P.I.; got 14th and 16th place finishes, about 1,000 player fields)
• Venetian- Roughly, $2,000 in daily’s
• Indian Reservations- Over the past several years I have made $10,000+ in daily tournament cashes
• Plus, the $4,000 noted on Hendonmob
• Totaling roughly, $23,000 in live earnings

Prior to Black Friday in poker, I used to grind the daily lower stakes tournaments on FullTilt (sn was D_Volta) and PokerStars (different sn; will provide if asked), equaling roughly $15,000+ in earnings. Ever since online was banned, I have been playing live poker on a bankroll that I mainly accumulated from online poker--which I have managed for several years--allowing me to go to Vegas to play in live WSOP Events and other live tournaments each year.

REFERENCES

I have been discussing this WSOP package with my poker playing cousins, Kevin Keller and Thomas Keller; both can vouch for my validity and honesty in respect to this package. Also, I have successfully transferred funds to “jtflush29”, “whoknewbenspews” and “price is right” (and will be sending to “gordonbombay” as well) to stake them in live tournaments on 2+2 Selling Shares Live Forum. I was staked by Paul Volpe (aka paulgees81) prior to Black Friday for a bit, broke even on the investment. I was also once staked live by Lucas Oconnor, with a profitable investment for him in a Deep Stack Extravaganza at the Venetian. Side Note-I will be getting coaching from Ryan Laplante (aka protentialmn) prior to the WSOP Series.

WSOP PACKAGES

Since this is my first package, I am going to offer it with NO mark up, hotel, or travel fees. I believe this is fair to the investor, and shows that I am willing to pay my own way to make this trip happen (which isn’t cheap, as most Vegas goers know; just to drive (or fly), stay, and eat, will be in the amount of around $2,000-$2,500 at minimum, while staying there for these tournaments).

Package #1

Selling 50% of 2xbullets in the WSOP Colossus Event #2C & #2F ($1130) and WSOP Monster Stack Event #41B ($1500), totaling $2630, at no mark up.

ADDED BONUS FOR PACKAGE #1 ONLY

Any investor who stakes 10% or more, will get 10% of their stake percentage (10%=1% of side events, and so on), in all side events (minimum 4 or 5 side events) that I will play with my own money throughout my trip, as an added bonus. Will be playing several $235 Deep Stack events at the Rio, the $125 daily at the Aria or any Live tournament they may be running at the time (WPT500 is a possibility), and any other side event that I may decide to play, will all be included in the bonus (only exclusions are satellites that I play).

Selling 50% of 10k WSOP Main Event #68B, at no mark up.

ADDED BONUS FOR PACKAGE #2 ONLY

This does NOT include the Colossus and Monster stack events or any satellites I may decide to play.

The bonus is my way of giving back to the investors for investing in me.

Payments accepted via PayPal, Chase Quick pay, or cash in Vegas, in person, in front of the WSOP Rio Cashier. Payments must be received 24 hours before May 31st in order to be booked for Package #1 and 24 hours prior to July 9th for Package #2, no exceptions. I will start accepting payments after May 15th for Package #1 and beginning of July for Package #2. In the case Package #1 does NOT sell out, I will take the rest of the action and still play the events, and those that reserved action may stay in for the stake or get refunded. If Package #2 does not sell out, at least 40%, it’s a NO go. All refunds will be made promptly and back the way I received them. The proper taxes (30%) will be withheld with any cashes over 5k from each investor, unless I am provided with the proper I.D. and Social Security number in order to properly 1099 the transaction.
