I'm sorry I didn't post these sooner, but I had crap reception and my phone was on its last leg of battery. I'll post the tournament tickets in my next posting...

So, here is how I got crippled and eventually ousted in level 7 (we only needed to play through level 16 (4.5 hours away) to move to day 2). I wake up with QQ after being fairly card dead, moving up and down while remaining around starting stack size +/- 1500 chips... So I get QQ in HJ, the BB is the shortest at the table ~25 BBs, and the rest of us are around same stack size. So I raise and get smooth called by BU and BB. The flop is 10-high rainbow, so I make a cb smooth called from BU and re-popped all in by BB--so I put him in for his last 15 BBs. He snaps me off with tptk, and of course BU just smooth calls. We check it down after an Ace peels on the turn, and a 10 on the river for BB's full house. yuck.

My newly acquired shorter stack was difficult to maneuver around, but found a spot once it folded around to me I opened 109o and ran into top of BBs range (AKs and he ends up flopping a flush). Puke!

Stimulus Satty to ME today @ 15:00 local... let's go!

Last night was pretty frustrating. Things were going pretty well and I was feeling good & playing solid poker. Then with about 140 players left (47 receive a seat), I wake up with first reasonable hand after 2nd break. I had roughly 15BBs in HJ when I look at QQ; UTG shorty (6BBs) shoves and folds around to me so I snap it off (QQ<A6o). UGH... Then we go card dead for a while and some larger stacks moved to out table. I needed to make a move to collect some chips as the blinds just went up again.

W/ 7BBs, I see A8s in CO. New player with 20+ BBs min raises from MP+1, so I ship as my hand has decent equity vs. villain's range and some FE. Then the worst thing happened... BU 4bets us. WTF! MP+1 folds, so my read was at least correct there. A8s<QQ. Out in 110th.

I'm starting to ship funds today. Please confirm in thread when received. Thank you for investing.

ummm... Kind of embarrassing, but my PayPal wasn't prepared. I just added funds to acct, but takes 3-5 business days sorry for the hold up. Below is the final worksheet...

Guys, I wanted to keep everyone informed the current status. I've been having some minor difficulties with PayPal (they didn't recognize new IP address since I moved, linked a new U.S. bank, and they got my records screwed up when I tried to load the funds)... It's very frustrating and I do not anticipate taking long than a couple more days (I have to fax bank statement, etc).

If it takes longer than a couple of days I'm willing to ship via BOA, check, or wire funds. Although I'm sure it'll be good shortly.

Update:

all PayPal is still not resolved... apparently even though the money has been withdrawn from my bank acct (reflecting paypal) I have to prove everything because I initiated/authorized the transaction. What a bitch! I sent a fax of my account statement reflecting the withdraw and waiting to hear back. I deeply apologize!

If the investors have another means they would like the money back I will work it out. If not I hope this doesn't take much longer.

Ok, I apologize for the delay. It took PayPal some time to receive the transfer and lost the transaction. What a pain! Good news is that it is all squared away and payments have all been sent.
