Paul Gibbons here – this is my 12th WSOP, and the 10th one I’ve sold action for. Apart from 2012, I've been break even plus at the WSOP by picking value events.

The ABI is around 800. Hendon Mob tells me I have 52 cashes. P5s had ranked me 3rd in Colorado (but now has me as an English player so go figure.) On SharkScope I have one of those little shark bitches. In 2018. I was 13th in the Monster stack for $65k. I have two six figure cashes for a 2nd and a 1st (chopping the Chicago {Poker Classic $3200 for $165k was the biggest. I've binked the WSOP daily a few times.

Here is my Hendon Mob… http://pokerdb.thehendonmob.com/player.php?a=r&n=132057

I'm a highly-paid business guru/ writer, (google Paul Gibbons) but took 3 months off to grind online during the pandemic which was very profitable - can't prove that because it was Poker Bros. I played the Venetian/ Wynn in June and had a silly ITM (like 40pct.)

Pre Black Friday I was a Stars mid-stakes reg. I had a 40% ROI in mid-stakes, about 16% ITM (paulgibbo on Pokerstars) in mid-stakes online (over about 10,000 tournaments) from about 2010 onward including a dozen or so 5 figure cashes.

Yeah but you aren't a reg?
I’m a senior that began poker online in 2009 studying with several coaches and Cardrunners. Now I study BenCB and JNandez and GirafGanger's stuff.
Before Poker I was a pro backgammon and bridge player...

Have hired a solver-freak as a coach for September to work on NLHE.

An unlikely edge

The good thing about being a senior is I get to play against seniors AND when I play against younger regs, they don’t get what they expect. My style is what you would expect from an online reg.

If you are a top reg, I'm not as good - but the difference is that I know more about your game than you know about mine.

When I check jam river, or triple, or 4-bet it gets a ton of respect.

Events
This is for six events only - I usually have a 40k package - this is 14.
There are multiple bullets for each - but I never ever reenter as a shortie. (There is too much EV in resting, playing cash, and waiting for tomorrow.)

The markup is about 1.3 as in every other year - a bit more for seniors, a bit less for the others.

I will sell for the main separately. HMU if you want a substantial piece - that usually snap sells out.

Buyin Bullets Markup Total
1-10 Reunion 500 3 1.25 1875
4-10 Deepstack 600 2 1.25 1500
8-10 Miily maker 1500 2 1.25 3750
12-10 PLO 600 2 1.25 1500
10-27 Seniors 1000 3 1.35 4050
10-31 Super seniors 1000 1 1.35 1350
14025

If you are an experienced investor, you know you will get most of that back because of day 2s and unused bullets.

Selling half - 5% discount for over 20pct...

2.5% or greater please

PP, CQP, Ven, CashAp and cash in Vegas all

Updates on Paul Gibbons Poker Facebook on every break.

Taxes - either I deduct 25% from big wins or we do the tax forms.

This always sells out but I do a wait list.

In my head 10% is 1402 so 350 for 2.5%... Im flying in the morning of the 1st for the 10AM flight of the $500 which I will have pre-regged for. (I also have all the vax documentation lined up.)

Truthfully, I'm highly unlikely any day to play 6 hours and rebuy for another 10-12 hour session... that **** -EV.

I always reg for these monsters the day before because standing in line for 2-3h is not conducive to optimal mindset.

Hey there - am heading out shortly to "warm up" and get on the time zone. First event in a week. You want to do pp or ven or zelle OR even cash in vegas if that is your pref?
