I found out he was possibly MIA this afternoon, and started calling people.

I called Boccia and a few of his other old roommates and friends to see if anyone had seen him. It is not unlike Jogden to booze it up and end up in strange places.

He left a ton of stuff in his room, and it didn't look like he took anything, but a closer look reveals his laptop is gone, some of his clothes, and a bag.

He was last spotted playing mega sats at the rio last night. It was my understanding he was having trouble getting cash offline to play the ME, and he may still have funds online.

I expect him to pop up somewhere on the internet soon and say his peace. (please) I have done a lot of business with him over the last year, and he always pays me. I have never had a problem.

I don't think you have scammed anyone intentionally or with premeditation , but you have got to post something. If you ****ed up and degened off the money, OK. Let us know. If you say nothing we can only assume you have no intentions of fixing it. You really left me in a bad spot here.

I have no excuses. I was irresponsible with investors money. It's gone and now i have to pay it back. I'm on my phone so this is v brief, I'm 100% going to refund everybodies $ (+ a tax/interest), problem is i lost it all at rio last night. I should have posted earlier but was in desperate need of sleep and doubt it would have made sense anyway. I feel this is the biggest **** up of my life and don't expect anybody to be nice to me about it, which is why i snuck out of vegas early this morning. I apologize to all my old friends and investors, please don't kill me, I'm not a scammer, just a degenerate gambler. If anybody has questions I'm not going to hide.

a plan/timeline for how you are going to handle paybacks would be nice (i.e. do you even have 10k to your name to pay people back, or will this be an ongoing process?)

If you have any money online, transfer it to someone you trust. If you don't, a plan as to how you plan to pay back investors would be a good start.

I am not sure how to react to this. I guess the warning signs were there when johnbeans posting about jogden trying to sell off his share(2 1ks BAP) to someone else. I obviously don't know what the story was as it never came out.

Incredible how so many kids are bad with money. Anyways, I agree with Thinky and believe it would be in the best interest of everyone to transfer any money you have online either to me or George. We're both very much trusted in the poker community and put out 100k+ to purchase action this year. Please let us know what your plans are.

I'm beyond shocked. I know Justin personally and never would have expected this ever, especially since a lot of his shares sold were to friends. As furious as I am with him, I still am confident he will pay everyone back like he said when he gets his head on straight.

To George and everybody else affected by this, here is what I have to say;(trying to keep it real short)

I was short $ for the main event buyin simply for no other reason than that I irresponsibly spent money and played in games my roll couldnt handle, and in an attempt to come up with the full 10k buyin I had pittsed off every dime I could get my hands on, and at this point i am left with a few hundred on each site and a few hundred in my pocket.

I am now staying at my parents house, and I plan to continue as a "professional" poker player in order to repay everybody, and heres the plan Im proposing:

I play exclusively $16 18man sitngoes on stars (my fav game) until x% of everybodies funds is recovered, distribute equal % of each persons share value, repeat until done.
I fully believe I have the mass-tabling ability and the work ethic to pull this off in less than 2 months.

My goal here is to keep this simple and recover everybodies money ASAP.
(at the time of making this post Im running on a few hours sleep over the past few days so please excuse any stupid-soundingness)

Any updates on how things are going here? Hopefully OP is back to work and will chalk this up as an embarrassing lesson. Everyone messes up, etc. etc.

This is a good idea, maybe i should start a thread in a different forum like staking rails or poker goals/challenges for progress tracking? My roll is not big enough to grind the stakes i should be so i am getting back into the groove by rebuilding at micros and ive picked up some part time work to speed up the process.. i havent gotten much done yet at this point but im going to be back on a routine 2moro..
