My name is William Migely and I am a 24-year old professional poker player currently living in Long Beach, CA. I am originally from the Bay Area and I graduated last spring from UC Berkeley.

I discovered early on in my poker career that I had a difficult time balancing online play with my academic studies so I decided to play almost exclusively live during the remainder of my college years. Throughout these years I consistently crushed several no-limit games in local cardrooms (primarily 3-5), as well as a weekly 5-10/10-20 home game (nlhe/plo) for over a $100/hr.

When I graduated from school, I made the decision to play full-time. I was easily beating the local 5-10 no-limit games (SF and Sonoma County) but was frustrated with the small player pool and lack of action in these games. I started to focus on online MTTs-which I had always enjoyed- and immersed myself in studying strategy, which had changed considerably since I had last played MTTs.

I moved down to SoCal in February and was quite pleased to see how much better the live action is down here; I have done quite well, primarily grinding the 5/10 game @ the gardens. I befriended some online MTT players (titantom32, forcewithme9) and discussing strategy with them has helped me smooth out some of the finer points of my MTT game and given me confidence that I do indeed play at a high level.

Overall, I have roughly a 41% ROI on a sample size of 943 MTTs with an ABI of $68, for a profit of 26k. However, all of my profit is from 2011, when I really focused on MTTs for the first time. I had an 88% ROI on a sample size of 328 MTTs with an ABI of $93 for a total profit of roughly 27k.

Now these stats are pretty ugly. But hold on! I know I have a -30% ROI on a sample size of 554 MTTs with an ABI of $74, but what isn't included is 9k of profit (won the turbo hundo and 6max 20 rebuy) from back in the day before I had a FTP account. As I stated earlier, what is more important is my 2011 results, which shows me at -10% ROI on a sample size of 209 MTTs with an ABI of $92.


That means in 2011- when I first focused my attention on online MTTs- over a sample size of roughly 540 MTTs with an ABI of just over $90, i profited roughly 25k for an ROI of roughly 50% (i hope i did the math correct!). I know its a tiny sample and i'm sure I was on a heater, but before black friday I was quite confident that I had an edge in pretty much everything but the high stakes rebuy MTTs.

I have had a lot of success in turbo formats (showing i push-bot well); however, because of my live-cash background, I think I have a huge edge when playing deep as well. I have played very few live MTTs (probably less than 5) in my life, but I bricked a 1k and $1500 6-max earlier this summer and was incredibly excited to see how soft the fields were. I am obviously extremely comfortable and confident on the live felt. I think one of the things that really sets me apart is how skilled I am at understanding the tendencies of weak live players and relentlessly exploiting them. I'm also good at LOL soulreads and picking up info from physical tells as well as other dumb stuff that live players are good at I'll be honest, I think i'm an insanely great investment at this rate.

William and I have been friends irl for about the last 6 months. Since than we have probably played over 200 hours of poker together either live or sunday tournys online (before black friday obv). William is a beast in the live cash setting and his table swag is off the charts. I am always surprised by how well he reads people on the live felt. I am sure if he would have grinded online cash that he would have been like a 2bb winner in any game lower than 2/4 nl.. As far as tournies go he is equally as strong, Him and I have talked about tourny strategy for many hours and his thought process is very similar to mine. As far as trust and integrity go, William is of the highest quality! We have had lots of backing/big money bets and he has always been 100% fair and honest. This is a great value and I only wish I wasnt so freaking busto so I could buy A bigger piece.

turbo- i am really trying to sell this as a package since i want to play the main, i mostly included the side events in there as a little bonus for investors and to reduce variance a bit for me... however this is my first package and i am new to this so if you have any input for me or a different idea i'd love to hear it

William Aka Zach(to his friends) is the real definition of great live cash pro.
He is one of the most patient, TAG players that I know when it comes to cash games, which is obviously very important in well structured live tournaments. In his recent endevours in tournaments he has picked up fundamental strategy much quicker than I wound have expected from a player with a live cash background. As far as adjusting to playing against a field like the world series, I feel there is no adjustment at all for Zach. He has handled all types of live competition for years successfully. If I were to invest money in a poker player in the world series, I would much rather put it in a guy like Zach who's an established live cash player, rather than a mid stakes online tourney reg witg little live experience, Especially with the deeper structured main event. I think some of his less impressive online tourney roi's should be overlooked due yo the fact that he was playing smaller, faster, more high variance events because most of his money was dedicated towards live cash and not online, as well as the low sample size in general. I watched him play extensively in several big ftops events with good structures and I was impressed and believe that he is very profitable at high stakes as well in my professional opinion. If I had more money at my disposal, I'd lock up all of zachs action for his given package. As is, im gonna book 5% of his main event and I'd highly recommend those out there with cash on hand to lock some of this up.
