This has to be a level. I can't imagine someone would scare off investors with this kind of attitude/remarks and then bump up the MU post black friday.
If you are serious about selling shares I would close this thread and ask one of your well known references to sell your shares for you(although it probably wouldn't create additional interest at this point). You're obviously your own worst enemy and don't realize it.

This was really hard to read. Zima doesn't throw character references around lightly and OP has all the poker stats and skills he needs to have a successful thread yet OP train wrecked it via the skill set he lacks. I actually feel bad for OP and can't help but think a friend or someone should have stepped in and tried to help him out with this.

Writing and using a forum as a medium for communication can be a tough thing for some people and requires a skill set not everyone has innately. I know because I'm one of them. I don't write well and don't convey myself through this medium as well as I'd like and regret when I'm misunderstood because of it.

That's why this was hard to read as OP could be a great guy and an awesome investment but the lack of skills that are necessary on an internet forum may have sabotaged him and to me that's just kinda sad. I would have PM'd OP if he was my friend and tried to help him and guide him.

Regardless, hope you can get this turned around man and gl in the Main Event.

I'm not Jason Young, and I wasn't an investor of OP, so you may not care what I think but I believe I can answer your question. I have invested a lot and the one thing I look for outside of poker skill is whether or not the player has a good reputation or has any inkling of shadyness or uncomfortability. Especially because for the most part my horses are going to be relative strangers to me.

When you invest in somebody, you form a business relationship and nobody wants to be in business with people who behalf themselves as arrogantly as OP has in any regards, but ESPECIALLY in his sales pitch. If OP has been this unbearable to negotiate/speak with WHILE HE'S TRYING TO SELL HIMSELF TO US, what do you think he will be like once he has our money? How about if he cashes and he doesn't pay right away? What if there is a dispute of some nature, how do you think he will handle it? Maturely or like a jerk?

I don't care if he was twice the player he is, as an investor I'd rather not be scared away.

Having said that, I believe him when he says that he's poor with words and I hope that he is a good guy, I just have a limited amount of money to invest and surely there are people out there with less red flags. I wish him the best of luck in Vegas.

I get all that, and understand. I was talking about this situation specifically. The WORST thing IGT is accused of doing, as far as i can tell, is being sarcastic in a thread after his life roll got locked up by the justice department, and he apologized....

as for this thread...there are 150+ posts or w/e so far for a simple one tournament package. Do you see any other threads garnering this much attention? there are a lot of good investments out there, and alot of people selling a lot more complicated packages than this one. The way he is handling himself is an embarassment and it should be waiving tons of red flags. He comes off as irrational and unstable IMO and I would never invest in someone that seems to be this much trouble and this high maintenance.

Sarcastic, and also shockingly immature and unprofessional. The marketplace is for business transactions. Grow up or gtfo imo.

He has done nothing except have an attitude with his potential investors, I agree. But ultimately he is trying to sell himself to investors. Being a jerk to the very people he is trying to get to give him money is a huge red flag to many investors, including myself. I'm a businessman, and I like character in those who I selectively chose to do business with. Sure he didn't commit a crime. But I still wouldn't invest. Having said that, I feel like I am now beating up on the poor guy and will leave it at that.

ya we get it, IGT handled himself poorly, if you aren't involved in this situation why keep posting in this thread? i understand enjoying trainwrecks but you guys repeating the same things about how crazy he is aren't helping. that was part of the reason he got so worked up, since he asked ppl to voice concerns to him via pm. sit back and enjoy the ride. that black friday interaction was epic tho
