Well, no one really knows his current assets. His current liabilities are a lot, like $80kish, so that means about 1/3 of what he owes he owes to 2p2'ers from this thread.

He needs to come clean on how much he has left, which he is yet to do for some reason (actually his reasoning being he was tired, and stressed...LOL).

he should obv just find out how much he has, send whatever % of total owed that is 2p2s, to you guys and not PTP. whatever % of his debt is to PTPers, that % of the remaining funds should go to PTP for distribution

if 2p2ers were smart theyd have a trustworthy member offer to deal with distribution of funds to 2p2ers, becuase he is a lot more likely to send money if its easy to do.

if he sends money to PTP, they will distribute it equally among investors, if 2p2ers expect a guy who just rolled to do the breakdown and do all individual shipments to each 2p2er invested, well i think thats pretty optimistic

when ferg comes up with total amt to pay back as of now sounds like 1/3 should go to 2p2 and 2/3 to PTP because he owes twice as much at PTP, roughly.

instead of bitching or thinking PTP is trying to screw u, come up with someone whos willing to take a lump payment from ferg, and redistribute it amongst 2p2ers, as making it easier, is making it more likely u get paid.

One of the smartest posts in this thread since the drama bomb dropped, esp the stuff in bold.

He was PM'ing me 2 days ago about what he should do. He didn't sound like he didn't have the money, rather he was having problems with getting money online to send people. My 3rd response to him was telling him to just send everyone, including myself, money orders or cashiers checks. He was still online at the time, but didn't respond, as still hasn't responded after 2 days. Not really sure what to think.

The PTP policy of not distributing the shares in the horses name is based on the presumption in most cases when the horse rolls, the investors get made whole before the horse ( roller). Thats just basic not rewarding the roller for rolling logic. Its not an intent to rip off 2p2, its designed to protect investors ahead of the horse.

Lets see what Andrew (Ferg) does, for those of you that don't know before he was backed by Bax he was part owner in PSSTAKES and PSMONEY. I think he will try and make good, its part of who he is. It will also take time to grind back what he owes but he is a winning player.

I have been investing in Ferg as a small investor before and after his private backing deal. Lets see what he wants to try and do and go from there.

I could not disagree more. There hasn't been much involvement from investors in this thread. While not every post and comment from non investors adds a ton of value, you'd be surprised how much gets done in the MP when things go sour simply from MP watchdogs and smart people posting their ideas and comments.

I understand you are tilted about the situation, but telling everyone not involved to STFU isn't really going to speed up the process of getting your money back.

Good luck going forward.

such a narrow minded post. if 2p2 left it to you who was invested so far the input would be...

From Fergwrx on PTP:

Quote:
On July 4 I got second in the Pokerstars $215 second chance for $33,375 for my online MTT bap and I made a very poor choice in deciding to play higher stakes cash games with the portion of the profit that I would have been mine. This obviously was the first mistake because the bap has not ended and it was not my money to use. I was playing a lot of 2/4-5/10 NL and PLO cash games and lost and made an even more horrible decision to chase my loses and try to make back what I had lost, instead of coming forward at that point and saying what had happened. Then after everyone had agreed they wanted me to stop playing for the BAP so that I could do all of the payouts, I continued to play cash games and then added full tournament schedules to play including several 100r’s and 1k’s. A full report with how much was lost and exact amounts that are owed to each person will be posted shortly. I am working on it right now and do not want to post it until we have figured out EXACTLY how much I owe to each person. What I know for sure is that I owe a lot of people on PTP, twoplustwo, and a handful of players who gave me short-term loans before this all came out. At the moment I have no funds to pay any of this back. I really don’t know at this moment how I’m going to go about paying this back. If anyone has any ideas I’m more than open to them, but regardless I'm going to be working my hardest these coming months/years to get back on my feet in a proper way.
Also to address some of the speculation about how this started, I was never selling pieces originally to pay off older debts. I did attempt to do this during the closing of the WSOP bap because I panicked and did not know what else to do, but the admins did the right thing and gave me the DNS to stop this from happening.

I just posted the following question on ptp:

According to people that looked it up you were down around 16k since July in cash games. The Mtt bap had 57k money in it and your wsop bap had 37k if I remember. So thats about 94k. If you only lost 16k at the cash tables where did the rest of this money go?

For the WSOP I sold part of my action here on 2+2 and on PartTimePoker. I sold $19,545 here and 10,465 on PTP. There was a total of 22,100 in buy-ins and $32,653 in cashes. So, without stakeback $22,890 or with stakeback $25,292 is owed here. I also had all of my MTT online action sold on PTP going at the same time as well. I had a cash for $33,375 and $20k for the MTT bap and I made a very poor choice in deciding to play higher stakes cash games with the portion of ht eprofit that would have been mine which obviously was the first mistake because the BAP had not ended and it was not my money to use. I was playing a lot of 2/4-5/10 NL and PLO cash games and lost and made an even more horrible decision instead of coming forward and saying what had happened I decided to chase my losses and try to make back what I had lost. Then after the investors in the only MTT bap had decided I should close it and payout the profits I continued to play cash games and added full tournament schedule to play including several 100r’s and 1k’s. A full report with how much was lost and exact amounts that are owed to each person will be posted shortly. I am working on it with a friend and do not want to post it until we have figured out exactly how much I owe to each person. I really don’t know at this moment how I am going to go about paying this back.
