I just asked PTP how they plan to handle the payouts that are already paid...This is what they are willing to do:

"I stated earlier in the thread that we're not going to force PTP members you have already paid to send the money to us to be re-distributed. I encourage them to do so, but it's not something I am going to gear them for or force them to do.

Obviously PTP on behalf of the PTP-WSOP-MF fund will add the $670 you shipped us to held funds to be distributed. I have also heard unofficially that there are other members you have shipped to how are willing to ship back, they will need to post here and state this so we can track it.

As for offsite stakers, specifically people at 2+2, we obviously need to put PTP members first and distribute whatever funds we have to them as the priority that is and always has been our policy. Being a member of PTP means you enjoy the protection of PTP, it's not our job to police offiste stakes or worry about stakers who are not members or officially vested on the site in any of our players.

THAT being said, in this particular case I am willing to make an exception and invite the 2+2 members who are invested in you to join PTP, set their poker site names and post in this thread claiming their shares. We will then move those shares from your name into theirs so it can be tracked properly and they will get their fair share of whatever funds we recover for the distribution.

Well, there is a pretty big difference in the two. There are legal (and possibly some illegal) means of getting money back that is owed to you if the person that owes has some or all of the money. On the flip side, if the person owing has 0$ there isn't much recourse at all even by legal means.

mobills: Like I mentioned earlier, it's likely a majority of that money has been spent over the past few months and lost in cash games/tournaments. Although, I, like everyone else, am pretty skeptical at the $0 to my name claim. Not sure how you could be surviving in an apartment you pay rent for which you mentioned is paid up through October (meaning you don't live with your parents) with $0.

My lease is up on my current place and the last $$$ i had went towards paying deposit and rent for another apartment. I do not know what im going to do to come up with money to pay other bills and food yet. Like i said i left my self along with everyone else in a really bad situation.
