Where is my miscalculation then? I sent you $1800 and am getting $1632 back and there's a profit of $10,553. Did I overpay or something?

maybe not, lol
seems like 1800 was 5% of 30k and he only played 22k of buyins so we get 5% of the winnings plus 5% of the 8k*markup back?

edit: according to my calculations that would be $2106.65 but I guess he's doing it differently so I have no idea

Beyond confusing. Please give me a breakdown of the payout. I think everyone probably wants a little clarification as to how you are doing this, since it is not the standard in the marketplace. Thanks

I don't understand why he's responding on PTP, but hasn't said a word here in a week. Pretty clueless, esp with most of his bigger investors being from 2p2. Hopefully this is resolved soon. Deff destroying your image by doing this.

you really think it matters how many posts he has on this site? i get the idea that he might not read this forum a lot, but if people are investing thousands of dollars in a package for you, than you should at least read the forum and take care of business.

Let me sum up what seems to me to be the gist of the 3 links.

Ferg is a bit behind on his accounting, he's trying to get everyone paid and up to date on ptp, that's taking some time due to a backlog. In the PTP rail thread 2+2ers are the shares bought in his name (they may or may not be right, I haven't looked that closely).

Ferg is a pretty reliable horse, I would suggest PMing him here and maybe on PTP if you can. I don't think it's too likely that he'll run off with you're money

I can summarize what's been going on at PTP for you. He has been selling shares of himself there for a while. He sold WSOP shares both here and there. His accounting and closing completed things has been problematic and slow. Those threads about him there are dealing with that, and they are happening because the site polices issues such as this. This formal process of trying to sort all of his bankrolls out on there started on the 25th and has been progressing extremely slowly but it seems he did a lot of work on it in the last 24 hours. I don't know if he's just temporarily forgotten about his stuff here or is ignoring it while he's under pressure there. At least you know since he's been dealing with investors there he hasn't completely disappeared and he'll likely be back to sort things out here.

Sorry for the lack of communication...The main reason this has not been paid out is because I am maxed out on stars xfer's which is where all the money is. Also, I dont know how to calculate the payouts.

I sold $19,545 on 2p2 and $10,455 on another site (PTP) the payouts are 2 competely different systems.

There was $22,100 in buyins and a cash for $32,653 in cashes. So, a $10,553 profit.

Here is the %'s owned....
pokerchap-6%
mobills- 5%
fitzcat-5%
NHFunkii-5%
jimmyc123-5%
tufat23-5%
George Lind III-15%
leemur-8.33%

How do I calculate these which were sold at 20% markup?

I just went and reread the first few posts in this thread where everyone was trying to clarify how the payouts would work. You seemed to know what was going on earlier, so I don't understand the confusion.

With that said, my interpretation of what you said (using your words earlier in this thread) it looks like you first owe everyone their stakeback (everything they sent initially) PLUS 83.33% of the profits ($10,553 x .88333 = $8794) adjusted according to their % share. So for example you would owe mobills everything he sent you initially + $439.70 ($8794 x .05).

I might be way off. There was a clusterfck of posts in the beginning trying to clarify this and it got a little confusing.

Hope that helps all parties involved. Best of luck.
