As UKIPT Marbella wraps up, I thought I'd be a good idea to get my UKIPT staking thread done before the event.

My name is Phil & I guess I'd still refer to myself as a recreational player. My main game on PokerStars is 6-max hyper-turbos sit & go's and tournaments. I think I'm one of the most profitable/top players at 6-max hyper-turbo Sunday Million -x2 shootout satellites and am very confident playing a short stacked.

I've been playing recreationally for the last 4 years online with some success, my biggest score in one tourney being $7K. I've also had a few deep runs in majors, getting to the final two tables of the Big $162, almost final tabling the Sunday 6-max, 101st in the Sunday Milly, with wins in 6-max and hyper turbo tournaments also (with fields of over 1000 players). My game has come on a lot the last year (in part thanks to Gripsed coaching) as I've played UKIPT Newcastle before so have had experience in the UKIPT (also played a bunch at the Hippodrome in London).

I expect they'll be between 400-500 entrants and £60-£80K up top (guessing slightly less than last year). I'll be going with my friend who lives there & will also be playing. I've traded 15% with him and 5% has been reserved privately so far, though I haven't offered it up many people yet and will likely get a few more % privately soon. I may play some side events, which I'll confirm when the schedule is released within the next week or two.

I'm not going to go out drinking on the day before the tournament etc, will keep hydrated and with my mind set on the goal!

Looking to sell 50% total, though if I satellite in on stars before the event I'll refund everyone. Will be playing if I don't sell or don't satellite, anyway.

20% traded / res so far so 30% left to sell, entry fee is £770 @ 1.038961etc MU = £800. I prefer PayPal or Stars but will also happily do cash-in-hand at the event if you're going too.

Might not be the greatest of references but the guy i'm staying with could be a reference I guess? He took a third of my Nightly $30K ($55 buy in) when I was a noob in 2012/2013 that I got 2nd in and paid him the $1.5K for it. I understand that's not the strongest reference in the world though. I don't do staking too often.

We have RAYRAY down for £200 / 25% & West down for £40 / 5%. Would prefer electronic payment either by paypal / bank xfer or stars prior to the event just definitely make sure plus I'd rather keep as little money on me as possible but if you'd pay me in the casino then it's whatever, I don't mind too much.

I still have 15% traded and 5% reserved outside of here, though the 5% may well drop out so i'll keep you posted if I need to ship the last 5% anytime before the event.
