Good run ollie unlucky with ft ai equity

this basically, played a close to perfect day with the nut flush facing river raise vs straight flush being the only close spot (plus one 2nd barrel i didnt fire)

had 1.9m and ai w/ 99 vs a5 for 800k pot, A river, then nut flush into straight flush, then AJ vs 94 vs a shortstack, then 88 vs A3 aipf, couldnt win a showdown for the life of me and ended up 4th for 43k. Fortunately, relatively flat payout structure, still got 40% or so of first place money for 4th.

still, v happy with my play and package is in profit prior to the main and second biggest event even, and no reentries used yet either

last 2 mtts have been two of the best tournaments ive ever played decision making wise etc, feeling really good about the rest of the week

most of the key hands should be on pokernews i'd imagine - in any case, i'm confident i played best of the seven players on the FT and with tollgate at the final table i was very happy with my performance overall results aside, if I win even one of the 99 A5 and 88 A3 hands i'm still in excellent shape to TID even after running the nut flush into straight flush

Still mid package but now that we're in profit, if anyone wants to be paid on stars who paid cash or vice versa please let me know as i'll have to move a decent chunk of the winnings (currently sitting in the cage at crown) back to stars, so i'll need to know how much i'm moving back etc.

also if anyone who paid cash wants to be paid out any winnings early i think you all have my phone number, let me know, otherwise ill set a time/place to meet everyone to pay back cash for anyone who paid here in melb when the package is complete (hopefully when i've also final tabled the main? got some momentum going now)

Share value $430 AUD with 43k AUD in cashes currently with two prelims (1650 bounty and 1100 mixmax), two reloads, and the 10600 main event still pending. If I don't use any reloads I may substitute the 2500 horse in, if I don't play it offstake, if shareholders don't have any objections - can sort out details over the next few days, for the time being if anyone doesn't want me to play the 2500 horse on this package instead of the two 1100 reentries if I don't use either please let me know and i'll sell seperately

Villain turns set to bust me in 1650ko vs aa 3b pot when im committing w turnbet on safe board. Might use budgeted reentries to play again since good struc ill keep everyone posted

Reentering

Out for a second time, got down to 6k, ran it up to 30 then rejammed K9 vs lags AJ bvb for 60k pot at 800/1600 and lost

Will be playing either 1a or 1b of the main depending how i'm feeling tomorrow. 1c will def be the toughest day, 1a falls on the weekend and 1b clashes with sunday majors so both have something going for them - obv if i play 1b ill have to skip the mixmax which will be refunded along with the remaining 550 in unused reentries (budgeted two 1100s, used one 1650 so far)

Will update twitter etc tomorrow with whether im playing 1a or 1b obv, starts the same time all the other tourneys have

1b being a public holiday is swaying me

Already decided on 1b. Online grinders playing Sunday Majors being my main factor, plus the fact i'd like an off day today after having played several days in a row

This means i'll miss the mixmax, but I assume thats fine, itll either be refunded or rolled over into the 2500 horse if I play that on this package (still have 550 in unused reentry money + 1100 if i miss the mixmax, and if people don't mind me rolling over an extra 850 of the profit from the 43k bink the other day i'll play the horse onstake if i'm not still in the main event (if I am obviously i have to skip horse since the final table will overlap with day 2 of the main) if thats the case mixmax will be refunded obviously or rolled over into a different 1k

nice play Swoop. really tough to run that bad at the final table but hopefully you sucked out a lot along the way to even that up. if you didn't though (i know live structures are deep), that's just unfair

only sucked out once all tournament in the 6m AJ vs AQ for around half my stack but i ran well situationally and held a lot of 8020s and 7030s early got it aipf 3x with aces in the tourney and held all 3 times etc

time to win all the flips in the main, 92k going into day 2, was all in once early w/ topset vs overpair and held other than that just owned a mostly soft table and got some hands in levels 5/6 and got max value

Nice table draw for day 2 with Sam Trickett covering and on our left. Should be fun

and gg, 3bet aces to 7700 w/ 32k or so back, 2 flatters, got it in on q82hh vs a3hh (nice flat pre obv) and gg Th turn
