Probably a good idea to sell your $80,000 car and pay back the money you owe. Just a suggestion.

I hope someone is tracking him on PTR and OPR so they can calculate how much he owes based on the 10k + the profit he's making from the money he's currently using to gamble with, I don't see his logic at all because his rep is going to be lost unless he chops all winnings.

I'm under no legal obligation to pay back the money. I could just say F you to everyone, that I lost your money, so deal with it. That act would be totally scummy, and I never once considered that. However, that's not what's going to happen. I'm just a desperate person who has fallen on hard times admittedly due to terrible money management. Everyone will get their money back very soon.

This is not necessarily true.

At least post a screen shot with you name on it, not to sure if it matters anyway cause it doesn't look like your going to pay the money back any time soon.

You don't need $8100 to grind 1/2 so send some, if not all, back to your backers.

This is a false assumption greatwall. I suggest you get a better understanding of how American contract law works.

GW--

Serious question here, are you interested in rebuilding your reputation? Or have you decided (as an earlier post would indicate) that your reputation is destroyed regardless of how you handle the situation?

It was mentioned previously, and I agree, that your ability to rebuild your reputation has little to do with the situation you're in, but a lot to do with how you handle it from now on. (And that involves more than just paying back the debt...)

Posts like the above indicate that you've given up and don't care what people think of you.

I hope that's not the case...

All--

In my Full Tilt client, the dollar sign appears to the left, not the right, of the account balance. I've briefly chatted with a very computer- and poker-literate friend of mine, and he doesn't think it's likely that anyone's cashier window appears otherwise.

Of course, we could be wrong about this. And I'm not trying to create a bigger ruckus than is necessary, especially where I'm not directly involved. But I do think that investors ought to know that there's a good chance that screenshot isn't real.

TheGreatWall--

Please reread the earlier posts in this thread. The best thing to do for your career, long-term, is to be honest and pay back what you can now.

All my best,

Here's something to motivate you to return the money immediately.

The investors have your real name, the 2+2 mods can track your IP address to the city you're currently in and as posted earlier, 2+2ers even know what kinda car you drive. In addition, you're dealing with Cole South who knows A LOT of people.

Like I've said, I'm not stealing anyone's money or have any malicious intent.

We're also talking around 6-800 dollars for everyone except cts. I'm assuming that's money that wont make that huge of a difference to the investors whether it's paid back within a day or a couple of weeks. Like I obviously feel shtty about not paying back right away, but that money won't make or break them while paying 6800 will just about bankrupt myself.

Obviously it's wrong for me to not pay back when I have it, I understand that. Seeing as how my reputation is totally F'd, it's not gonna REALLY make a difference now how long it takes me to pay back. I'm not gonna be able to sell action anymore, so I'm not going to bankrupt myself at the same time in addition to that. I'd lose my roll by transferring it back, not by grinding 1/2 - I have too much experience poker-wise and management-wise playing with 25-50 buy-in rolls to do that.

Just calmdown dude; you'll get your money. I could show you a screenshot, but it's not necessary. I actually have more that now (because I've been grinding and winning), but still not enough to be comfortable...soon though and then this will be over.
WTF is this ****? Seriously???

Your 2+2 reputation probably had a hope before this crap; I doubt it does any more. But if you think there's no incentive to hurry things along, you should think twice. Have you not seen what happens to scammers on here who take an attitude like you're showing and/or never pay back? If you don't start making things happen PDQ I wouldn't be surprised if the 2+2 detectives start posting all sorts of personal information.

I thought exactly the same thing when I saw the screenshot.

The OP is also from the US on his account listed in the OP, so there should be no reason why the dollar sign is on the right.

in disregard of the thing with the $ sign on the wrong side, meaning this could be photoshopped for obvious reasons.

i really think it is nonsense to say something like "oooh cts said he does not want OP to grind, but his money back. so give him!"
the only thing cts could claim @ this very moment is his share*overall cover of debt
means if op has 6k of 12k and cts gets 2k, then cts can only get 1k!

and as op is obviously a proven online cashgame winner why wouldnt you let him grind it up for the full amount to be paid back?
this would mean
a) (half!) the money at this very moment means more than 200% of the nominal worth to you, or
b) you expect him to lose all and not pay back anything!

both dont make sense to me.

Guys

that screen shot has been shopped

the $ only appears on the right of the T$, currency it appears on the left.

TGW if you are being truthful show your balance by sitting @ a table.

I feel bad for the investors here.

So I've been made aware that TheGreatWall is a scammer that was previously caught on 2p2 and made a new Full Tilt name as well as 2p2 nick, here was the old thread where he scammed someone:

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/54...-teddy-205963/

I have his real name as well as pictures of him, rest assured that trying to burn someone with vast resources is not a good idea and if at least partial payment is not started in 24 hours I will start the legal / general annoyance to his life and future, and update here.

Oh hi greatwall.

EDIT: so much fail in your post. OP owes $6.8k & claimed he had like $6k. So cole should to be paid half of what he's owed??

OP is a proven online cashgame winner? ORLY?

And yes, it's pretty obvious that everyone expects him to lose it & then be unable/not want to paid it back.

I didn't scam anyone in that thread; he scammed me.

More importantly, I just had another good session and am ready to send back; the drama is over. FT transfers on the way now. I need Stars screenames from pofigistika and hoosieralum.
