You paid me the 1440 for the sides but have yet to pay the 600 for the Main.

I thought they were talking about the other transfer I made but I guess they were talking about yours... Ah well i'm sure they will sort it and $ will be with you soon!

Forgot to update, I received money from everyone and all paid up.

I'll most likely play day 1B in the first 1K.

I'll be posting updates on Twitter at ClutchCity95.

I played day 1A of event 3. First table was solid, bunch of online guys so that sucked, but I ran really well at it. Flatted Ts9s vs a guy who had been opening a lot and raised JhTxXh, guy folded saying he had a jack. Defended KQ and got 2 streets on KxTQ. Opened 66 and got 3 streets on A6KAx which was a real big pot at the time, like 2400 at 25/25. Opened KK otb a stacked a guy's AQ on Qxx for another 2500 or so. So I was up to 5500-6kish.

Then, I got switched tables and it went not so great. Hand of note: 4way pot limped, I'm in BB and old man in SB bets 100 into 200 I call w/ Kh5h on Ah8hTx. Turn Th I bet 250 and he c/c. River x he donks 600. I have to raise imo and do so to 1900. He then shoves for 1800 more. EASIEST FOLD at that point, and I knew that but played bad. I thought maybe the guy was bad and he'd do that w/ Tx or a smaller flush, but I soon realized after that he wouldn't bet/3bet w/o the nuts. He would c/c or d/c most of his good value hands. Really bad b/c by me... just playing live made me approach it differently, and I didn't fully think it through. I tend to rush decisions live, but I think after this mistake, I'll approach it better in the upcoming tourneys.

Onto event 5 on Monday.

Take your time, there's no rush! Raise/caling with nut flush can't be too awful there IMO but you were at the table so know better. Good luck in the next event.

In case there's anyone not following me on Twitter...

Event 5: I played pretty lag/good at my first table, didn't make any big mistakes. Got switched tables, went way card dead... blinded down from like 30 or 40bb to 15, then got moved again... regular 30 or 40 something guy opens CO, I 3b ship A5o in sb for 15bb... really regret that... I made the move based purely on fold equity, I estimated there was a good amount of it. I shoulda thought about the fact it'll be another 8 hands or w/e before the BB hits me again and more importantly I could just shove a bunch in LP right after. So, sigh, that was a mistake.

Event 8: I could never really get anything going. Eventually just ended up getting in TT SB/LP for 30bb's vs. young aggro asian kid, lost to AQ.

Event 11: Nothing special to report, hovered around starting stack for the first 2 hours, got in 25bb's AK vs QQ at the start of the third. Haven't been able to win the races yet. Whatever, I'm saving up all my run good for the ME...

13: blah. played really tight, got no hands, no spots... 3bet blind/LP for a 2nd time, 2nd time though vs a different opponent, Liv Boeree. 22bb's my ATs couldn't get there vs. her AJ

16: was up and down... played more patient than I did in the previous events. <30bb I open AQdd utg/bb <30bb eff. I BBBshove J9x Kd (turned FD) x vs the only solid player at the table. His range is obviously stronger there, so the spot isn't ideal for 3balling, but I think he's gotta have KJ or sets to call. meh. He has AA because barely anything went right for me in that tournament.

SIGH. pretty disappointing so far... I'm gonna prepare a lot for the ME.

So you have time to browse the forums but do not bother to reply. Time to come out of the hiding and update your investors.

I wasn't ignoring you guys; I was away from the internet/poker world the past few days and hadn't seen the thread since it was bumped.

I've lost money at poker in recent time. Some of the money lost was that which was supposed to go towards the ME buy-in. I mismanaged money, both mine and yours. I realize the the ME was part of an overall package you expected me to play. I apologize I've failed to do what was expected of me. I feel terrible.

When it came time to register for the Main, I just didn't have the money to do so. I'll send back your refund/portion of the ME cost ASAP.

edit: I wasn't hiding thinky; I was writing my post.

I don't get it. You obviously knew that you were not going to play the ME since you lost your investor's money. And if I have to guess, you knew this at least a few days before the ME. Having come to this decision, How about updating investors about your plans?

When can we expect the money?

I actually had a longer post typed out explaining that, but it was lost and forgot to address that this time around. I was still trying to get the money back in the days leading up to the ME. I was hopeful I'd have 10k to spare after the weekend and would then play day 1d; it didn't work out that way however.

I'm unsure of when I can pay back exactly. I have no intention of running away with your money. You WILL be paid back even though the time it takes me to return the money may suggest otherwise. I plan to have everyone paid back within 2-4 weeks.

I apologize for this situation. I'm not sure how it came to this. I didn't deliberately gamble a bunch at high stakes or anything... I just played a few Sundays worth of online tournaments and it just happened. I'm truly sorry.

I suggest you pm all investors and advise them of the situation, I was unaware of this matter until yesterday.

Also, you should probably return some of the markup charged on the other events, not playing the Main, decreased the value of the package.

Yeah good point. I was planning on sending back extra as a consolation for not paying back right away/missing the ME.
