Many years later, for those that are still confused, that year Scarer arrived in Vegas fully backed. pieces sold via the marketplace here but the lions share was my personal commitment. David had been backed by me in live cash games in the USA up and down the East Coast for over a year prior to the WSop of 2012. and online before and after that event. The shitshow of 2012 and His failure to return funds immediately and create all the "the checks in the mail" storys is due to me withdrawing my support and the all his financing early in the 2012 event.(due to some poker related disagreements) He, with backing pulled failed to cash early, then played out his remaining short bankroll without a good cash then broke quit the event early and went home.. In testement to his good character he collected over time the funds to repay the backers from sources outside of poker and left not one online backer holding the bag..but his reputation is still now perminently blackened. Things like this happen in Poker ...
