Yeah it's unfortunate that people will take this as a majority example of the MP, which it is NOT. Only back those with solid refs who have had successful BAPs on here before, common sense.
HE MUST BE BANNED - This type of behavior cannot be tolerated, his lack of communication, deflection of blame, etc was horrific and a person like David is not welcome on these forums.
Those of us who live in the MP, take this stuff very seriously. For those of you who just invest occasionally or only during WSOP, it's unfortunate you got a bad apple here. 2p2 cannot allow these types of people to continue to be apart of this community, it starts a trend of how behavior like this is tolerated.
In his case, I'm sure he got an I.P. ban, which is the safest way in preventing him from making new accounts. Although I'm glad he paid people back, people need to stop looking at it as though he did nothing wrong. We need to take note how he conducted himself, left his investors in the dark, had nearly $20K of investors money tied up as he grinded his way to pay back.
If he didn't pay back, it's fraud and a wise investor would press with legal action, something David would not wish to be a part of I can imagine. So we don't need to give him thanks for paying back, he needs to give thanks for letting it play out so long and not alerting the authorities.
All he needed to do was come in here, get on a payment play, admit he screwed up big time and make timely payments to his investors. Instead, he left everything in the dark, and luck boxed his way to paying his investors back. Why else would he hide his online names? Blocking every SN when it was clear he was playing (probably with investors money that was sent on Stars) as it was observed ITT by many.
I'm not sad to see him go, he is a high risk to this community, I'm sorry.
