How does he not come in here at least once and just tell people how he plans on repaying? Its so absurd even if he pays back that someone handled this this way.

I mean I don't even know if the mods would let him sell action in the MP again?

The way he has treated investors is disgusting. As someone who is staked himself and sells action from time to time it annoys me as it puts people off from investing in the future. You have already had at least one person ITT saying they will never invest again.

People make mistakes. If he had said, "look guys I degened the money off playing roulette when drunk" and here is how I plan on paying you then stuck to it then people would be a lot less forgiving.

Not updating the thread when he doesnt play the events. Making up lies as to why he isn't playing them. Making up lies saying Stars blocked his account when they themselves denied it. Playing tournaments on Stars instead of paying people back. I mean the list goes on and on.

Personally imo he shouldn't be allowed to sell action again but we have seen in the case of Gary Neville that people will still buy action if they think he's a good investment. Perhaps make him post a link to this thread in the OP of every staking thread he makes in future I dunno. But to allow him the same MP approval that regular non scamming posters have doesn't sit well with me.

He doesn't have MP approval anymore, and I would be surprised if he is still welcome on the forums, but that's entirely up to the MP mods.

Guarantee he binked something on Stars, hence why he is finally paying back his investors.

I've been making a lot of payments yesterday and today but I'm slightly hampered by deposit and transfer limits so it will take a couple more days to get everyone paid.

No defense of him, but there were several offers earlier for tiered payments, or to pay people back but not everyone at once, and the sentiment in the thread was unanimous: any payment is better than no payment, and it seems clear he can't pay everyone back right now.

Some repayment is at least a good sign. Hope everyone gets repaid.

It actually seems like he CAN pay everyone back right now. He paid like 10+ about half each day the last 2 days and said he has deposit and xfer limits.

Also, FWIW David...I am pretty sure Stars will raise your transfer limits if you need them to. Just explain why.

In no way am I defending David, but we are finally seeing payments. Let's focus on the positive here and hope the rest gets paid out soon.
