As a starter I would suggest charing him the Mark Up (since he didn't charge any say 20%) and a Penalty as institued by 2+2 for offences like this.

I understand, but, the ban and restricting them from the forum is not really solving this issue.

How about once the original amount is paid back, they won't be allowed to sell another package till they pay a penalty amount.

I disagree, not because I would like additional funds from this. He obv can not afford to pay extra right now, as he is only paying back 50%. And I think demanding some sort of additional compensation would only deter the chances of him or future situations right.

I just want my stake back, nothing more or less. In fact I will not accept any additional payment.

But with that said, I think a charitable donation would go along way to saving his name and making something good out of a bad thing.

this is the problem with the MP - guy tries to con people out of money, fails miserably, and people are happy just to break even on the whole scenario.....nothing like this ever happens in the real world without severe repercussions, and I think there should be some kind of vig paid for situations like this. I don't know how to actually implement this because charging a vig could hurt chances of investors receiving their funds but this shouldn't be the standard reaction to this situation.

Once again I would like to reiterate the fact that I have never done his before. This was a last minute dumb idea and a bad situation. Also the event in question of the wsopc hammond that I mentioned previously was not even sold on here.

I will have 2 more 25% repayment installments and will try to get them out as soon as I can.

That's pretty severe for an MTT player who depends on backers to play larger events.

In the long run that's going to cost him alot more than any small percentage of Vig would.

I can't comprehend why someone would give up their integrity and reputation over $1K.

oh..and PS...good job Bobo....we need to make the mods aware of these situations...but also let the bad guys post responses for a bit reguarding payback/explanations before they are banned from MP....well played.

I truly believe this guy has stiffed investors before. You don't just wake up one day and say I am going to be a thief today. If its in you to do it once then you've done it before. I am sure the WSOP circuits have entrants list from prior events. Get it and prove u bought in to those events.

There are no criminal or civil penalties in the world of online poker, but we should be able to police ourselves and try to make it as difficult as possible for anybody who scammed to get backing in the future.

I hope someday that the 2p2 marketplace does add the +/- feedback system which is used on almost every other forum which utilizes a market place or does lots of trading with goods and services. It's so much easier to go through a single persons feedback and see if they have sold packages before, if they have only purchased packages, do they pay quickly, are they recommended for further packages, etc rather than go through a gigantic thread searching for posts.

Josh, yes its been confessed he didnt play this event, the question is weather he did is before so people r checking registration lists for previous events he sold action to. Get a clue!

How is the WEATHER in AC Roman?

Confusing that guy posted the most recent WSOPc Chicago, where did he mention this being another event. rob has sold large WSOP packages IIRC. Checking those is pretty easy, no?

I would wager he has done this before.
