A snobby old lady who got irate that she wasn't awarded half the pot when she mucked her KQ face down on a checked down 9991010 board has tried raising my bb twice from otb.

3bet her both times.

She raises 2.5x with good hands...4x or more when IP and trying to steal.

She won't shut up about the pot a kid wouldn't chop with her.

70k heading into level 11.

Little above average stack.

70k bagged and tagged for day two.

Lost a 40k pot to old crabby lady who sucked out on river when we flopped two pair.

I have swapped 5% of us with a guy named Robert F from Detroit since only 14 spots are being paid.

He currently has 125k in chips.

Will not swap any more of us until its down to 30 players, then I might consider approaching a couple players I think are solid.

Top 14 out of 455 getting paid is such weird curveball.

Down to 110 now.

Blinds 1200/2400

Otb raises to 4800. (Aggro/competent)

We defend with 5s7s.

Board comes K Q 5.

We call down his double barrel and he gives up on river.

100k chips now.

Is it fair to your stakers to swap with another player when they're investing with you and *not* him?

Pays top 3% only and the buyin is more or less 5 hundy and you snap reg anyway?

Thats pretty horrible value considering the level of variance in MTT's

Then you swap action without consulting your backers?

Up to now you have been more than generous with your stakers....but this package is full of donk plays IMO.

Hard to argue with this.

When I arrived to Hollywood Columbus Casino to play the Wednesday Event and Friday/Saturday Main Event I was told the top 10% were going to be paid out.

When I registered to play the Main Event on Friday, I was still under the impression that the top 10% of the Main Event were going to be paid out.

As I was standing in line to register to play in Saturday's day 1B for the Main Event I was told by the floor that, "We grossly underestimated the amount of players that would show up for the $450 Main Event and only have approval from the gaming commission to pay 14 spots, because we only estimated 150 total for the Main Event."

It was at that time I made the decision to fire the 2nd bullet, even though I knew top 3% would only be getting paid.

Since the top 3% were only getting paid, once it got down to 100 people left, I decided to swap 5% with a guy I know/trust who had 50k more in chips than me.

That guy went on to finish 14th and has given me the $160 he owes me from the 3.2k cashing.

Robert F. was actually 3rd in chips when the following hand happened at the 6k/12k blind level...

Robert gets his 1010 in vs 7h8h

9h 10h Qc board.

Jc turn.

Jh river.

Villain gets a straight flush and is chip leader.

If any of my backers are upset with the way I conducted myself, please let me know.

I didn't think they were investing because they were hoping for me to have an opportunity to min cash.

Final Results From Hollywood Columbus

Cash game bankroll: $1,800.00

Tournaments bankroll:$160.00

I am going to give you all a freeroll tonight since it's Monday Night Football in Detroit and I'm going to be playing $1/$2 NLHE at MGM.

If you want your funds shipped back ASAP, please let me know.

If you want me to hold funds until I post next package, I'll have that up within a few days.

I do admit, I didn't know exactly what to do about firing the second bullet or swapping 5% with another player, but I do know this...

I don't owe anyone an apology because if you look at the way I've conducted myself throughout all the staking packages you'd know that if you had a complaint and it was valid I'd make things right.

Meaning, if I had won it and you told me it wasn't right for me to swap, I'd have still paid you your full% and I'd have ate the 5% I owed to Robert F. out of my own cut.

I don't feel I did anything shady, immoral, or reckless in nature.

If what I did was wrong, consider it like a new puppy pissing on the floor, I really didn't know.

I had full confidence you'd all want me to fire that 2nd bullet, full confidence I could make the top 3%, full confidence that swapping 5% would be ok with you all, and full confidence I could make things right if it wasn't.

Thank you for continuing to invest.

I can't wait for the next tournament because I feel I am making all the right plays and as soon as variance stops getting in my way I'll be back to another final table.

I'm ok with the decision you made. And I think the swap was actually a good idea (especially with hindsight being 20/20 and dude cashed.) Firing the 2nd bullet is probably a mistake, but not a big enough mistake where i'm questioning your judgement. I think that some of us that have been investing are looking at this long term so you need to min cash sometimes. I'm obviously not suggesting you go in with the intent of min cashing, but its a necessary evil. It supplements the bankroll which you need with the high levels of variance.

My thought process was that swapping 5% with Robert F. would increase our chances of cashing something.

Therefore, making the fact we had to place top 3% not so bad.

14th paid 3.2k.

Thought I could get us there.

There was no time to consult with all of you so I did what I thought you'd all want me to...

You can't swap out your investors money. If you swap with someone it comes out of your %. Why is this so hard to understand?

If that is the staking code/agreement then I will happily refund full 2nd bullet.

All anyone who staked me has to do is ask.

I thought you scurried like a church mouse back into your hole after I final tabled in Cinci?

Welcome back to my thread.

Final Table in Cincy... that's very impressive.

Since you have no problem having a diary in the staking forum. I have no problem bumping your thread to discuss your Staking/dairy/hh thread. How many tourneys have you been staked for so far on 2+2?

Also, what are your cumulative results at 2-5 over the duration of this thread?

GL moving forward, I'll just scurry right back into my hole.

Currently I am a $20 a hour winner at 1/2.

$18 hour a winner at 2/5. (Only 300 hour sample size.)

Will be $40 a hour by the time I get to 1k hours.

GL to you as well.

Thanks for following my progress.
