I really hope you decide to come to AC I will be there and will take some of your action for sure.
I think your 1/2 strategy is flawless. You absolutely CRUSH 1/2, maybe you should just stick with 1/2? I know 2/5 sounds like more money, but with your win rate at 1/2 i'm not sure 2/5 is more profitable for you. If it ain't broke don't fix it. Keep smashing 1/2 and getting staked on here for tournaments and eventually you will bink a big tournament and have a roll. Keep ya head up.
You're right.
I beat $1/$2 NLHE for $21.00+ a hour over a 1.3k hour sample size.
However, I beat $2/$5 NLHE for $25.00 a hour over a 300 hour sample size.
So, my goal is to get to $45.00+ a hour by 1k hours and I feel I'll be able to do so once I learn the player pool a little bit better and tweak certain parts of my game.
As long as I remain humble, I have no chance of going broke.
Sure, I may get beat on like a gong for a few $2/$5 session in a row. But, I never let ego get the best of me and I go right back to $1/$2 when I feel my confidence has dropped.
Plus, even when I am losing at the poker table... I am WINNING away from the poker table.
I am not wasting my money on strip clubs.
I am not wasting my money on material possessions.
I am not wasting my money giving it to broke bitches begging for a penny in life just so I can have a girlfriend I don't even like to bang.
While most others are out drinking or getting high, I'm at home watching videos on Tournament Poker Edge, studying strat in the forums, or reading a new poker book.
While others play burned out or on tilt, I'll take time off to go to the gym, watch a movie, or go visit my Grandmother.
On top of all that, even if I went on the most horrific downswing of my life...
I know a lot of you would be right here for me if I ever needed a roll to get started climbing back up the ranks.
So, I want to keep you all as happy as possible with your investment/s in me.
That's another EDGE I have that has nothing to do with poker skill.
So far, this is what Atlantic City is looking like...
Dec 2nd, $365.
Dec 3rd, $365.
Dec 5th, $580.
Then, depending on how those 3 tournaments go, I may end up playing the main event.
After that WSOP Circuit Event, I'll probably head to Maryland for a week.
