hey guys, my name is Greg Eyster and i'm looking to sell off about 40-50% for the main event this year, and i figured i'd throw a couple other events into the mix as well since they are typically pretty high value tournaments. this is the first package i've attempted to put up on marketplace, so let me tell a little bit about myself. i'm 32 years old and i've been a professional poker player for 8 years, specializing in plo/plo8 cash online (mostly up to 3/6 with a small amount of 5/10 and even smaller amount of 10/20 sprinkled in). i'm very good friends with another long time plo8 reg, tobias hausen (kuhns89), and i have made 4 videos more or less pro-bono for his new website (not sure if i can say the name?), the last 2 of which are likely going to be uploaded to the servers today or tomorrow.

when black friday hit (i was on pace for SNE), most of the american plo8 regs began to vpn on ipoker, so that's where i took the bulk of my volume. within a couple years, the plo8 games were pretty much dead- it got to the point where i would sit alone at tables for hours at a time without getting action, so i transitioned to more or less full time MTT play (i still grind some cash these days, mostly plo tho). i don't play much live but i try to keep most or all of my own action and i do have a couple results which i'll get into in a minute.

now for the important stuff. this is the most recent plo8 graph i could dig up, from the first part of 2013 (mostly 1/2 and 2/4), i think on my ROMPRSTOMPR account, but maybe SPILLPISSBOTTLE as well-



here are my online MTT results over all screen names that i've played on the ipoker network (from above). this accounts for basically 100% of my online tourney play since black friday- around game 900 (march 2014) is when i officially started grinding MTTs "full time"

i recently won the IPOPS main event this spring, and i have wins in the sunday special, in the super tuesday/tuesday grand, the big friday/friday grand, and have 2nd place finishes in what was formerly the "tuesday high roller" and another random IPOPS event, as well as a 6th place finish in another IPOPS main event from a couple years ago.

i also play as MrClkClkDirk on stars- i spent this past winter in mexico with the intention of playing a ton of big tournaments, but after about a week of playing 50 MTTs a day with an average field size of 1k+ people, i decided that i really didn't want to do that after all. after IPOPS this spring, i decided to yolo a bit for SCOOP and fire off in a bunch of big stuff without selling any action. apart from something like a 26th in the $215-M hu plo shootout (beat danmerrr, shippp), i bricked pretty savagely and lost somewhere in the neighborhood of $15-20k. sucks, but whatever. i've got a plo8 WCOOP final table and WCOOP final table bubble from a few years ago also.

i don't play much live at all, but i do have a wsop-c ring and two other wsop-c final tables/near misses. this also doesn't include a 3rd place in the colorado poker championship ($1k) back in january of 2012 for about $22k that, for some reason, was never tracked/reported. without digging up my tax returns and my tourney ticket receipts, i'd estimate since black friday i'm probably in for ~$40-50k of total live tournament buyins, most of which has come from bricks @ the wsop/vds each summer.

this is the first year i've decided to play the main event, as generally i'm a little hesitant to torch $10k in a loldonkament, but i've made dramatic improvements to both my poker game and my mindstate in the past year or two, and i spent my time in mexico this winter completely immersed in a perpetual state of grinding, studying, and golfing. also, YOLO

so i've looked around a bit at various packages and i think that it's fair to ask for 1.4 markup(1.35 for anything >=10%), considering these will be 3 of the softest tourneys of the year and i'm out here murdering reg-infested games in the streets online every day. i will also be playing cash games and some other tourneys if necessary to fill in the time while i'm out there.

i'm just gauging interest at this point, obv i can take cash in person in vegas and i also have skrill/moneybookers. if it sells out and people need other options, i'll go set up a wells fargo or chase quickpay or venmo or whatever is the most convenient thing, since i only bank with TD canada trust and an obscure credit union in colorado.

somebody contacted me and bought 40%- i gave a small discount on the markup since it was such a large amount, so in the same spirit of generosity i'll discount grimerat and rayray's 2% to 1.35 instead of the full 1.4 that i asked

so with 44% apparently booked, i'll consider this package sold but i'll still offer another 6% of just the main event @ the reduced rate of 1.35, if anybody wants it.

rayray seems upset that he lost his spot and i don't want to update this thread later today to see a post from him that i'm gonna have to respond to, so i'm just gonna lay it out here.

i quoted rayray itt as "booked" because we made payment arrangements. he said on the 17th that he was likely going to fly to vegas and give me cash in person and that he'd confirm plans on monday. cool, i responded and told him fine.

monday the 22nd rolls around, still no word from rayray. i PM him again, asking him what's going on. he is having some personal/family issues and i'm understanding of them, he then says he will skrill the money and get back to me by the end of the day yesterday to tell me when. i give him the entire night to contact me and have still heard nothing when i wake up at 530 or 6am this morning. the first event of the package starts in 5 hours and i'm gonna be away from the computer very soon, so i informed him that he lost his spot.

there are people in line behind him. it's not fair of him to reserve a piece and then reneg on his word twice re: payment arrangements. this isn't baseball, you don't get three strikes imo

To be clear here I never accused OP of doing anything wrong, and I am not upset at all, and I was not going to post anything in here over something insignificant - couldnt care less about 2% one way or another. I simply sent him a PM saying OK, i wont comment and we see things different, and gl. He seems to have misunderstood that and seems to be having a bit of a blow up (sent rather long aggressive PMs to me in response to that simple PM).

To be honest once I sent the PM i considered this closed and had forgotten about it in seconds but then he PMed back and posted in here to try and drag through the mud.

Anyway this is just a waste of time - I don't care about the 2%, I am sorry I didnt get back to him yesterday as I said but instead this morning - as I let him know lot of family issues, but its fine I understand him moving my piece on I didn't care, I don't think OP had done or handled anything wrong until misunderstanding my 1 line PM and over reacted.

The only thing I would say to OP is sometimes we get the wrong end of the stick (and you have here you really misunderstood my 1 lined PM). Rather than having a mini blow up perhaps first reply to me and get clarity in private before all this.

and just for the record i dont think rayray is dishonest or lacking character, and i don't want to try and paint him like he's a bad guy or something. he's clearly very busy with things that are way more important than this 2% or whatever, and that's fine. i don't want this to seem like something more than it is, as it appears to just be a misunderstanding on both our parts.

Sb just lost a hand and is shortish, Flop AQ9hhd (A is Ah), sb donks pot (1750) w 2100 behind- any axx board hits my range hard and i should be expected to cbet most of the time. He seems decent so imo he basically always has some sort of nut fl draw (rarely aq or qqq but we have backdoors so wotevs) so i call looking to get it in on any non heart turn because btn behind me is looking over his shoulder completely uninterested in the hand and obv folding

Well we made a royal and had some other cool stuff happen to get up to 12k but we're back around 6k now. Bricked a wrap 4way for basically the min in limp pot w aqj9 on ktx, blah blah blah

Basically just winning tons of small pots outplaying people and bricking relentlessly in the bigger pots. Table is weak, if we can make some hands we'll be good

Well i was excited to finally have our table break, i continued to run super cold @ 1st table and pulled the trigger on an allin river bluff vs an extremely capped draw heavy range and it got through, so we arrived at new table to post bb w like 8500ish

So im dealt A377ds (double suited) in bb, call minraise (800) 3way, flop k25ddh so i have backdoor hearts, preflop raiser tries to bet only 1200 out of turn so my 77 is good a lot and i have sick equity w the gutshot wheel+bdfd regardless, so i check and let him bet his 1200, other guy calls, i x/r pot for like 7400 with 800 behind, preflop raiser gets it in w a234, turn 9, river A gg me 19k pot

So im obv disappointed but im feeling v good about how i played today so i guess we'll just go onto the next one

Came down here thinking i was early for a noon flight in the little 1drop and turns out it started at 10am. Nbd, only 30 mins late and sitting down w 200bb so i went ahead and jumped in. Will post pics of receipts to this and the plo8 later when i get on my laptop again (not willing to pay for imgur app on my iphone to host it)

So it only took 45 minutes to make some guy lose his mind and 4b jam 62bb w 97hh after i 3b him for the 3rd time. Unfortunately we had lost about 40% of our stack from bricking every pot and giving up after 2 streets, but our AK held to dub to 12.5k and now we're sitting on almost 18k coming back to 75/150 (started w 10k this yr)

With the exception of that spazz, the rest of the table is pretty tight and i can tell theyre mostly scared of me so we're in a pretty good spot
