Fairly unremarkable couple levels, lots of playable hands but couldnt connect w anything, was down to about 8k at one point but ran a couple big bluffs to get back to 16k

Fairly active middle aged guy opens to 3x (600) w no antes, i call playing about 10.5k w JTcc and both blinds call. Flop k53cc, he cbets 1400 we call. Turn 5x he x/c 2300. Im basically done at this point, think his range here is mostly Kx, KK sometimes as well. River Ax does not complete our flush and he checks again, we rip it and he tankfolds what i imagine was kq or kj

Im not a huge fan of running big allin bluffs btw, but im not scared to either. 15 combos of ak and kk, 21 combos of kq and kj means we get it through over half the time if he folds kq/kj (which i think he does) and we're only risking 6k to win almost 10k so its a pretty sexy spot. If he has KT and K9 suited (no reason not to) then its even better

We basically got the nut river card to bluff. Would have given up on any other card

23k @ dinner, had almost 27 but lost a couple pots. Busted some chess player guy with a very thin river shove w KQ on K95r7ccTc after he raised pre and x/c flop+turn. His hand just looks like 9x and tt-qq every time- i think hed wouldnt check a rivered 2pr/set/qj/fl vs me on that board and felt like he'd level himself into calling w jj or qq, which is super thin since we have a Q, so my reads have to be solid for that spot to be good.

Busted first hand back from dinner, will explain in a minute as im about to late register the 4pm flight

Basically kitty kuo opened co to 2.5x(1k), we 3b KK in sb to 2600, she calls. Flop Q23ss, i cbet 2800 she calls. Turn 4x i 6200 she calls, pot is almost 25k now and we have 10k behind. River Ts completes fl, i jam our last 10k because shes just going to x back all her top pair combos and she snaps w 46ss

I ran a sim and talked to a friend just to double check- i left out small suited 1gappers because thats a loose peel even for kitty, but you can throw a few small 1gap suited spades in up to Ts8s and we're still over 50%

Made some hands, 34.5k @ dinner coming back to 200/400.

Last two hours sucked, lost aq<ak allin pre for 10k pot, torched 3k on a bad river bluff with a busted fl draw which i blame on fatigue, lost ak<88 allin pre for 22k pot and have about 23.5k leftover, 2 more levels for the day

Lost some flips, won some pots, etc etc. Bagging up 52.3k for day 2

Well that sucked, down to 31k at first break. R/f and b/f a couple hands then Had one noteable hand, some kid who clearly fancies himself as a real hotshot and was making real douchey comments to some other guy about hands that he played at wsope flats our ep open from co (2500, we have KQ), flop 743r we cbet 2600 he calls, turn Khh puts fl draw out there, we 4800 he calls. River Jh completes backdoor fl and we 10.2 with 25k behind and he rips it, so we grumble a bit and fold. I dont think his ego would have allowed him not to show a bluff there and im skeptical that he flats pre in these positions with stuff like a5 or 45s or other random ace high/small pair combos that he could turn into a bluff, not to mention people dont usually bluffjam rivers 40bb deep just because a backdoor fl gets there. I imagine he had "it"

I was also vvvvvvv tempted to cold4b jam AJhh for 25bb vs two lagtards opening utg and 3betting utg1, but o decided against it only because those are just the two nut lo positions to rip behind

If its like utg/mp or mp/mp or later, that **** is gettin ripped

Also antes were gigantic that level which makes it super tempting (600/1200/200)

Lost the basically the minimum after calling raise 4way on btn w 46cc, called a bet on Q43 flop, x back 3 turn and b/c 4 river, lost to quads

Also got 3 streets w AK after 3b pre bb v btn (btn is aggro azn kid who is decent), 972K2 board

Pretty terrible start, had some gross spots and mostly havent been able to win a hand.

2 nits at the table, 1 fun player, chris johnson, brandon steven, some friend of duhamels and some uk guy who seems quite good all to my left.

25k, still workable

Flatted utg open w 99, uk guy squeezes, i flat behind the preflop raiser, flop TT8hh i call a cbet and fold to dub barrel on Qx turn

Open AQhh utg, get 3b by duhamels cardrack friend, flat the 3b, x/f K42 two tone flop

Defend AJss vs duhamels buddy, x/c 3 streets (3 to 1 on riv) on KJXcc9x4c runout and get shown QT, looked him up there because i might have appeared tight and he got caught trying to bluff chris in a big pot on a fairly nonsensical QQJTQ board and i saw an A when he mucked

Those are the ones that stand out, just lots of folding pre and losing 1-2 bets in most of the hands i do play
