sad bump.

I took many pieces of Nick through the WSOP, including 40% of his 6th place in the 1500 stud.
He left Vegas without giving me anything back.
At first he was answering my texts and kept saying he was about to do the numbers, but then stopped replying on Nov 29.
I went ahead and did the numbers myself. Not sure if they are perfect, but the figure is about 20k for sure.

Nick - Im glad to see you post here. I'm hoping maybe you just have a problem with your phone. I hope you are okay. Give me a call ASAP and let's figure this out.

Did you hear anything from him yet?

I posted what I did earlier ITT because I was somewhat familiar with Nick's play and felt that the skill exceeded the markup. I should have qualified that I didn't know the guy at all other than by skill, and I'm really sorry that it turned out this way. My statement should have been more precise or I should have kept my beak shut.

I don't really know him at all and don't have any sort of contact info but I will do what I can to help investors recover

Last I heard from Nick was when I DMd him on November 28th. He responded the next day and said he'd do the numbers "as soon as possible"

Not looking great indeed.

I know dragging family members into things like this is difficult but at this value it should at least be considered. Reaching out to his wife who's contact information is freely available online may be worth a shot

Does anyone know a lawyer who could handle this for me?

The brazen nature of this fraud seems worth the hassle. Not too mention the ~20k Nick owes me.

I mean SEO is your best bet, also someone earlier said to contact his relatives who seem to have easy to find contact info...given gambling debts are in general unenforceable, and as it looks like his father-in-law is a lawyer... SEO may be your only recourse...feel bad as I didn't look in time last year, or would have bought a piece as well.
