BUMP!! Something amazing just happened. I realized I made an error converting euros to dollars, and accidentally overpaid everyone involved in the stake by around 5%. I sent everyone this PM a few days ago:

After the huge delay from the Aviation Club, and in my haste to pay everyone out, I assumed they had wired just 35k Euros (leaving 10k euros behind for me to figure out how to collect at a later date)..... but I forgot I had taken some of it as cash immediately, so they actually wired $36955....

That's why the "rate" I said the wire was converted at of 1.25 ish was significantly higher than even the spot rate on June 4. The rate was actually around 1.878, meaning the cash was actually only for $55,776 instead of my calculated $58,892. I was off by around 5%.

I overpaid you by approx this much, rounded down to nearest dollar:

1.0% - $31
2.0% - $62
2.5% - $77
5.0% - $155
5.5% - $171
7.5% - $233

I'm asking nicely for the amount I overpaid back. And that's all I'm going to do. Certainly you aren't obligated to pay back a cent as the "banking error" was 100% my fault. I'm not going to "withhold" money if you currently have some of my WSOP ME action. I'm not going to publicly "out" you if you choose not to pay, etc. I'm just asking for your sympathy. If you show me your goodwill, I can promise you will get a huuge THANK YOU!! for paying me back.

If every single person refunds me, it would be ****ing awesome to be able to bump the thread letting the 2p2 know what happened and just how classy everyone involved in the stake was.

If you want to confirm, here's final list of action sold with corresponding percentages. And here's my info, I obviously don't care what site you want to be nice on, should you choose to be:

FTP: Yerrow Fever (Elephant, A)
Stars: coxquinn (Austin)
Party: lol_scarves (Quinn Sivage)

Many thanks and good luck to you and your horses in the main event!!

Quinn
Not a ton of money, but all-in-all almost $2,000 and since there was no mark-up and I only had 40% of myself, it was a considerable chunk of my profits.

The response was AMAZING. Klink10k shipped it back while I was still PM'ing people!! In just 24hrs I already had most of the money sent back, and now, just a few days after, I've heard from every single person who bought action and they have all generously offered to pay back all the extra I sent out!!! I'm so happy to be able to share this incredible story publicly now and give props to every single person who shipped back the money. To quote entertainme, these guys are the new "Defenders of the Realm" and deserve a huge pat on the back:

For all the recent scams, cheats, etc., this is an awesome story and a good reminder that the vast majority of the 2p2 staking community are classy, stand-up, respectable people. These guys went out of their way to pay back money that they had every right to keep simply because they believed it was the right thing to do.

Way to go 2p2!!

For anyone who had action: feel free to use me and this thread as a reference. I would happily vouch for your trustworthiness and re-tell this story over and over again.
