Hey guys, for anyone not following on twitter, I'll give a quick recap to my April tournaments. Unfortunately I didn't get any cashes, which is painful as I bubbled 2 out of the 5 tournaments. Luck has just not been on my side this month (or year for that matter). But I am confident that when I can run decently, I will be able to crush whatever I am in. I will possibly put something up for a couple of WSOP prelims in the near future.
Del Park Main - Held my own against a lot of tough players on day 1 including parxface, Josh Brikis, Lee Childs, and one of greg raymers instructors (don't remember his name). Ended the day with a healthy average stack. Day 2 started with a terrible table draw with elusively(chip leader), parxface, steve dannenmann, james boyle, and 2 borgata regs i recognized. I managed to find an early double up, but then bled chips the rest of the time, it seemed like every time I tried to make a play, I would played back it. I ended up busting 7 before the money getting in JJ against QQ for 15bb.
Borgata - 300K - not a great table draw here but I started building a nice stack working up to 70k at 500/1000. Moved to a table with elusively again, on my left and lost a couple of flips. After dinner I was short stacked and ran into QQ with A2.
Deep Stack - this tournament was outright horrible I don't think I won a single pot. Had Brian Lemke and Miami John Cernuto to my left, ended up busting to miami john early on.
100K - this one was pretty crazy, twice I had been down to <5bb and managed to climb back and ninja my way to having double average at dinner. After dinner I lose some chips KT<JJ to a 7bb stack, then nit it up for a bit, pick up KK on the bubble, guy gets a card exposed, ends up getting 66 instead of 96o, and flops a set on me ~10-15 away from the money.
6-max - my table seemed pretty competent but I found that to almost work in my favor. I had Chris Reslock to my left. Got myself in some great spots and made some terrific reads and was one of the chip leaders at 500/1000. Then it all just went down hill losing JJ<AA, A4<85, AK<66 all for about 10k each. Then I lose a massive 100k flip that wouldve made me 2nd in chips TT<AK. The rest I get in AQ<Q9.
