If you're negotiating the chop, make sure to get the technical first for the cpc points

The main isn't part of the package unless he win's a seat.

I think he's going to grind the turbos until the next event to hopefully accumulate points towards the race.

Yeah, figured we needed to talk about that, since in the original discussion of the turbo grinding, it was not clear that turbo points also go towards the overall leader points, many of us thought it was just for the car. Given he is now in the lead for the 50k overall points and knowing the turbos would help to maintain that lead, any original backer would be foolish to not just transfer percentage into turbo stake. Plus, it would be an accounting CF trying to figure out who gets what if he were to split it up.

I believe he has one more mega bullet as well, so that may lead to ME.

Lets let the guy savor the score and we can revisit this in the morning.

Yeah, his pm to the investors about selling action to his turbos is moot at this point. Since the points count towards the overall points, and he happens to win, i can't even start to think how we would distribute that payout.

Let's just get everyone to agree that he pulls from the current BR to play the turbos in hopes of making more cash, and getting the 50k, obv.

Can someone clarify, does the winner win both the 50k and the car? Or does the cpc leader win 50k, and the leader of the turbos win the car?

Last edited by Mrnton; 02-29-2012 at 01:27 AM. Reason: nvm, overall points towards 50k. turbo points towards car.

It looks like Jose will not be buying his own cervezas for a long time.

I thought only one investors was hesitant and the rest wanted to put him in everything he was comfortable playing.

It is possible to win both, if the CPC leader happens to do well in the Turbos. However, doing well in just the turbos will not get you the overall lead because the only count for half as many points as a full noon tourney, ie, first in a turbo is worth 12.5 points, while first in a regular tourney is worth 25. If Jose binks 2 turbos, he could potentially win BOTH the 50K AND the car.....in which case we bust out the hookers and blow for everyone who can be there in person.

I was hesitant at first becuase I thought the turbos were a completely different points ladder. Plus, when they say turbo, the mean turbo....15min levels, blinds almost double every time, its a shovefest after 2 levels, so luck plays much more of a factor.

Now I know they are basically the same pool, just different point values, I absolutely agree that turbos are worth trying grinding, for the points contribution to the 50k overall leader race.

According to Jose, he is one point behind a guy who ran deep in two CPCs and did well in a turbo, so fellas, WE HAVE A SWEAT!!!

Took 2nd in Event #5 and since he had a million more than me he took a little bit more from the prizepool then I did. We we're playing for the points, M.E seat and the trophy and yes the M.E seat percentages would have been carried over as I stated in my package proposal. Anything won associated with the package would be shared.

I am actually behind by 1 freakin point for the Series Point Leader $50k becuz this guy ran deep in 2 CPC events and also FT the Turbo last night.(damn turbos) I think we should use some of our profit to play the PLO tomorrow becuz a min cash will put us in the lead. The PLO is $350/$100 rebuys and I would like to buy-in for $350 and add a double stack for $100 If I make it to the ADD ON period I can buy a Double ADD ON which brings the total to $650
Let me know what you guys think. The percentages would be a small portion of each investor to maximize our chance for the $50k promotion
