Charging backers or investors for a massage is pretty brutal just on principle...Investors complaining about a small offset it after the dude cashes for infinite is also pretty brutal.

But you give me a good idea....I think that we should consider reimbursing players for paying for oral sex so long as they end up cashing. However, with all of the players who would take me up on that, I might do better just administering it myself....err...I mean....nm

I think it is generally a bad idea/slippery slope to let people buy various things that will help them in the tournament as it progresses under a staking deal but like Sheets said I think it's also a good idea to reward success. Should clearly be at backers discretion if they want to pay for the massage or not. After all they did pay markup in the first place albeit very small % in this case.

i remember having dinner with wazz and twoplustwoer penny_black the night before the final table or maybe it was the night before that. he was observably sore and uncomfortable, and asked us earnestly what we thought about him getting a massage out of the soon to be realized profits. i believe that he did not own that much of himself and was not in a solid enough financial state to splurge for it himself. it was my honest opinion and recommendation that it would be +EV for his investors for him to get a massage out of the winnings so that he would be comfortable and be able to play better the next day. perhaps this was not technically acceptable, and i suppose he could have asked his investors. but it was a judgment call that he made considering the opinions of twoplustwoers who know how to consider tournament equity. but i honestly believed and believe that he might have played worse and won much less $ for all of his investors than the cost of the massage had he remained as sore as he looked at dinner. it might have even won you guys an extra 100k euro, so anyone who is seriously pissed about this did not know the whole story and / or does not know how important it is to be comfortable and focused while playing this deep in a tournament. plus, perhaps it even made him feel a little more mentally indebted and determined to do his best for all of you guys.

but no matter whether or not it was ok, he did ask me and penny_black what we thought, and we both recommended that he get one because he definitely looked sore / uncomfortable, and like he would play much better after a massage. i promise that i gave an honest recommendation given what i would anticipate would be highest EV for his tournament equity as a whole, and i believe that if penny and i would have recommended it as not acceptable, then he would have simply not got the massage.... and won less $ for all u cats.

If it is easier for you I got IRL-friends (brag) going to Vegas this year. You can pay them in cash there and they will just ship me online. Or else I would prefer it online myself from you.
