Combining Cash Games and Tournaments?

Not looking to sell here, I already have a backer. I'm wondering though if it makes sense to markup say 1.1 for an entire bankroll for say a month. Bringing 10k for Vegas Summer and plan on splitting time between cash games and tournaments. So if I sold half it would be 5500 for the backer's 50% and 4500 for my 50%.
I've never marked up cash games in this way before. Is the above a reasonable deal for a decent 2/5 winner who doesn't play many tournaments but will play small buyin, soft field events?
