Hello everyone. My name is Cameron Velott. I am 23 from Harrisburg, PA and have a B.S. Business from St. Michael's College. I began playing poker fulltime after I graduated college. I am playing a total of 18,000 in buyins and am selling 50 shares and keeping 50 shares for myself. The events are as follows:

$1,500 No-Limit Hold’em (Event 39) Sat. June 20

flying home for a few days to relax in between event 39 and event 51

$1,500 No-Limit Hold’em (Event 51) Sat. June 27
$1,500 No-Limit Hold’em (Event 54) Mon. June 29

$10,000 World Championship No-Limit Texas Hold'em (Event 57) Fri. July 03

PAYING FOR YOUR SHARES:

I prefer pokerstars transfers to pay for your shares. If you prefer to mail me a check, that is acceptable as well.

WHEN IS ACTION OFFICIALLY BOOKED?

Action will be officially booked when I receive your payment for your shares.


STAKING RATE:

1.25 to 1. 225 dollars per share. Each share equals 1% of total winnings. I am only selling shares for the entire group of events (will not do individual events) (I am willing to do a half share if you just want a tiny piece for some extra sweat)

STATS:

I am a winner over a very large sample as shown in my graphs below. I spent most of the year so far traveling and haven't played too many mtt's yet but am even for the year on my opr (I put the image of my full tracking up). I keep getting very very close and just haven't seemed to get the right situations at the right times to get some wins this year....the life of an mtt grinder...

REPUTATION:

Reputation and integrity are very important to me. I realize my post count on 2p2 is low. I am going to ask a few 2p2 friends to post in my thread as references. I am very good friends with some 2p2'ers and have successful transfers with many of them. I will give my cellphone number to anyone staking me or considering it who would like to speak with me over the phone.

FOR TAX PURPOSES:

For tax purposes I will need full names of anyone staking me. In the event of a large cash, I will need to be able to write off the portion of my winnings that goes to my stakers)

STATUS UPDATES:

I am going to get a twitter account that I will be updating regularly throughout my events to keep everyone in the know on my status. I will do my best to update it as regularly as possible.

WHAT IF I MISS AN EVENT?

If I miss any events due to making a day 3, illness, or family emergency, I will refund each staker his portion of the buyin.

I met Cameron at the wsop last year and we have been friends ever since. We have done numerous transfers of 2k+ and he is 100% legit.

I bought mecca's laptop, he installed some new parts and shipped it to Finland without any problems. Also spent a week in Fuerteventura with him, trustworthy and kool iyam.

I'm fairly interested, does anybody know how the tax situation would pan out for someone living outside the USA (in Canada)? Thanks.

Jecht, I asked a friend who was in a similar situation (a stakee who cashed in last years wsop) He said that he just mailed the party a paper check so they could deal with it however they wanted. I would do the same.

Running thru the math, do I have this correct?

18k total buy ins, selling 9k (50%). 50 shares would equal $190 each, times 1.25 = $237.50 per share? Or is it 1.225 x $190 = $232.75?

Let me know where I might be off.

I am keeping 50 percent of all of my winnings with my shares. So, 50 percent of my shares at face value = 9,000. 9,000(1.25) = 11,250 11,250/50 = 225 per share

Ah i see where u went wrong, 9,000/50 = 180 not 190

Cool, thanks for setting me straight. Good thing I don't work with numbers for a living. Oh wait..........

I'd be interested at 1.15:1 if you find 1.25:1 doesn't get you enough interest. If it does, GL and win the main event imo!
