Thanks everyone! I'll let pokernews handle most of the updates today. I might have someone from my rail take care of twitter, but I probably won't be doing it myself.

Thanks everyone! 2nd for $114,484. I think I will be tipping the $484 for ~.4% for the dealers. Hope no one minds that. Let me know if you want me to opt you out of that tip and I won't do it.

I didn't collect the money yet. I need to figure out how to deal with tax forms. I'm sure GL3/cts know how this is supposed to be done/what forms I need to acquire. Post in this thread if you have any pertinent information I need to know or PM me if you have any personal questions.

Thanks again everyone! Congratulations to all of us. I apologize if this process is slow to any of you. I went out drinking last night and am hungover today and want to be careful about picking up the money so I don't get mugged. I also don't want to misstep anywhere about tips/taxes.

Please correct me I have any of this wrong:
-I can pick up the cash without filling anything out.
-To transfer the tax liability I just need to fill out this 5754 form. Thus, I need everyone to PM me their Name, Tax ID#(SSN) and Address. What do I do about foreign people? Most of the big pieces are American, so I'm sure we can work something out, but I'm not sure what the standard is here. Someone chime in plz.
-I then return the form to the Rio.
-After I have collected this information, I will have the money picked up and delivered back the way it came for the most part.

What is the difference b/w column d and e? Amount won and Winnings from identical wagers?

i've always put the total amount from the w2g in column d, and '0' in column e. my best guess is that column e has something do to like, say you have 5 $2 tickets at a horse race all for the same combo of horses, and you hit it. but really i'm not sure. i'd be shocked if the correct thing to put in was anything other than '0' in your case though.

pm'ing my info right now

-Cook's account of our lack of a deal is pretty spot on. I wasn't aware he actually offered me a 55/45 of chip-chop - I thought he was just spouting his supposed edge on me.

-Cook and I have a last longer for every event we play in together. Up until yesterday, Brendan was 0 for 5 during WSOP($2k LHE, $3k HORSE, $1.5k HORSE, $2.5k 8-game, $2.5k 2-7), and something like 1-12 lifetime. I finished 2nd in a 548 player tournament and lost a last longer.

-We got to 6 handed and Cook was as low as 150k(1/3 starting) for a long period. We went off to dinner and he proceeded to win every pot after dinner.

http://www.pokernews.com/live-report...chips.1273.htm

During this time he made a hudge hero fold to Schneids that went unposted by Pokernews:
Tate opens in MP, Schneids 3b OTB, Cook 4b in BB with KK, Tate folds.

Flop: 432
Cook bets, Schneids raises, Cook calls.

Turn: 3o
Cook c/r/tank/folds.

Schneids said he had AA later.(plz be lying and have had A9, Cook needs some humble pie) This is amazing if you know Cook because he NEVER FOLDS.(and also why I don't mind posting it on the internet) He played great start to finish and ramped it up hudge when everyone else had to deal with ICM 4 handed. Come out for his bracelet ceremony tomorrow at 2:30pm.

-I remember when I first started lurking 2p2 I would read Schneids posts in the HSLHE forum. While my poker goals have moved on from being a nosebleed limit player, it was still pretty fearsome to play against Schneids for the first time. The guy is still the man for LHE and he is hudge class act. When I busted him in 5th he apologized to me for getting there against me in a couple hands. I remember thinking "Dude, the most tilting thing ever just happened to you, and you're apologizing to me?" I have a great respect for players that are not only elite skill-wise but well-mannered/got the tilt in check. Kudos.

-I feel like I played well the 1st half of the FT, but somewhat meh the 2nd half. I don't know if it's because the money/atmosphere started to get to me or because Terrance and Schneids were no longer on my left, making me think harder. Pokernews finally got a hand right. http://www.pokernews.com/live-report...693.htm?page=2
My turn bet is bad. I don't know what I was thinking besides "My hand is pretty" and "Maybe he has 99(which I can't get 2 streets from anyways)" I was going to fold the river UI with 2BBs left, raise only a flush, and instead I bink 2pair. I did have 13 outs, but I think someone ICMed it and told me that card made me $70k in equity. LOL DONKAMENTS.

-2 years ago I had a mid 5-figure bankroll coming out of college/deciding to go pro and punted it with poor money management/losing in poker. I didn't do anything particularly degen, it just bled and I lived way above my means. I lost 200BBs at 40/80 live somehow over the course of a couple months while trying to live the baller lifestyle. By the beginning of this year, I was in debt ~$15k and had just worked myself out of it when WSOP started. I don't want to brag but I'm proud that I paid everyone back in full. I resisted the urge to take any shortcuts(People kept giving me $3k wads with $3.1k in them and Cook kept stating my debt was lower than what it was and stuff like that) or forget about any of my debts. (Pudge kept asking me why I said I owed him $125.) I just kept grinding, never complained about "running bad" and spent a ton of time working on my games.

I would like to thank the people who have ever bought a piece of me and trusted me with $$$ when I was busto. Congratz to everyone who had a piece of this one.

I would like to dedicate my finish to Card08, Cook, gobbo, bugstud, and bakku and for being dumb enough to support me the past couple of years. Wouldn't have gotten back here without you guys.

Again, correct me if anything is wrong here:

- I won't actually be tipping anything out of the score - I forgot that 3% is taken out already. I have tipped that nice dealer $5 from day 1 though. You guys are on the hook for that.

- I will start sending back funds as soon as I receive your tax info/some other arrangement is made and picked up the money.

- The tax amount I entered in the 5754 and refer to the IRS will just be the amount from the big score(your % of $114,484) and not include the little pieces. I figure I have the buy-ins to offset the smaller cashes. Please let me know if this is incorrect/illegal.

- I apologize if I've told you otherwise, but since I received everyone's funds online, by default I'm going to be shipping it back that way. It only seems fair given that I had to cash everything out/pay vig on part of it. I would be willing to part with the live cash for less than the market rate right now for any of you guys. Let's say 3%. Please let me know if I'm being unreasonable.

Yeah the 5754 is only based on the amount on the w2g, not the total amount given.

As for cash vs online, obviously I'd prefer cash and every other horse that has won big has given me cash or rio chips even if I paid online originally, but I guess I understand your reasoning for wanting to ship it back online, and whatever you decide to do is fine with me really. I'd probably be willing to give you like 100 or 200 bucks for the inconvenience for the cash but 3% isn't really worth it for me even though I know it's less than the 'market rate', but to me online $ and live cash/chips have basically the same value.

https://spreadsheets.google.com/ccc?...0E&hl=en#gid=0

- The spreadsheet contains finalized figures on everything. The first column next to your name is how much I will be sending back to you and the 2nd how much I filled in for you in the 5754 form. Please feel free to check over the numbers and let me know if anything is incorrect.

- I ended up tipping another $6 during the payout process, but like I said before, I didn't tip anything else outside of the 3% taken out of the prize pool. Spreadsheet reflects this.

- Everything should be in place and I will head to the bank tomorrow, then start doling out the cash starting with the people who gave me their tax info already. I need this info before I can give you your money.

Thanks for being patient.
