My name is Ben Grise. I’m 29 years old, from Indianapolis, Indiana and I am selling 30% of HPT Season IX Championship Event at Soaring Eagle in Michigan.
I haven't sold in the marketplace since June, but since then I've won a ring in the WSOPC Southern Indiana 6 max event, and I also took 2nd in the Bovada 100k online. Oh and I've also became a husband since then! I'm lucky to have an amazing wife that has been nothing but supportive of my poker career. She really helps keep me balanced and always hungry to play.
This will be my 3rd HPT event. I made the TV final table in my first ever event and finished 4th, and went deep in my 2nd HPT event finishing deep in the money in the large field Majestic Star HPT Main Event
I primarily play live 2-5 and 5-10 NL cash games in between the 5-6 tournament trips I make a year. This really helps with the post-flop play you encounter in these deep stacked championship events. Also winning a 6 max event should illustrate that I have a big edge post-flop edge over the avg players you encounter in these HPT events.
I made the Final Table in WSOP 2012 Event 54 a $1,000 buyin with a 3000 player field. I finished in 8th for nearly $50,000. I then I chopped a $1600 NLHE Venetian Deepstack event a week later for $54,000
