My name is Marcus Perez and this my first time looking for backers. I have very minimal experience with live tournaments like less than 10 tournaments but one of those was a cash in a WSOP event in 2009 where I cashed in the 1k "stimulus" 287/6021. I think it was the 3 biggest live field ever at that point? So i am by no means a noob... I also have a day job at Bay101 mon-fri http://www.cardplayer.com/poker-play...8-marcus-perez

I'm looking for full backing. The tournament I want to play is this Saturday Oct. 13th. http://www.bay101.com/tournament_schedule.php

I'm not sure how backing works so i'm open to negotiations as far as mark up and wot not... I would like 5% of any cash I make if thats ok, like i said i'm open to negotiations... If you're willing to back me there are only 2 options. 1.) BOA
2.) we meet up in person

There are also $125 single table satellites at 7am the morning of the tournament as well for those not willing to pony up the $530, so that is also an option.

Search other MP threads here and get an idea on how to propose a package. This isn't appealing to investors IMO.

Typical packages are you (seller) taking X%, and selling the remaining % to (buyers). If it's your first package here on 2p2, and with the limited experience you have, I suggest selling at no markup to appeal more to potential investors, this is entirely up to you and just a suggestion.

My NEW proposed package is for the $125 single table satellite.

I will take 25% of myself for $30.00 and sell the other 75% for $95.00. Or 3 25% shares for 31.75.

Any winnings will be payed out based on % after taxes (in case I ship the tourney and 18-20k and incur taxes on it), either in person (at Bay101) or via BOA.
