I am actually better at PLO than NLHE but I knew I was good at Turbos because there is basically no post flop play and my pre flop decision making is very good in NLHE. I am also world class at laddering when it gets down to 2 tables and the FT. I wouldn't say that I am the best in the world at laddering, but I am definitely in the top 3.
We did a deal when it was 3 handed based on ICM approximations. I texted the deal to Ninjasam at the time that it happened but he had technical problems when trying to post it on here.

Sorry for the drop off the cliff on Friday night..... My phone went on the blink so I was unable to post the last few messages which were coming thick & fast! As our 2nd Hero on scene reported Cliff did finish 2 (in a 3 way chop, I think) for a very handsome 10.7k! My phone is back on track and we have established contact with the snowed in PLO Trekkers and are ready for the off!

Didn't think I'd be walking to the casino today wearing my poker sunglasses to prevent snow blindness, but this is what happened. Caught a glimpse of my reflection in a shop window and I looked like a ski dude! The hare is running in 40 minutes in the PLO.

The 500 PLO finally got under way at about 1430 local time and there were about 42 runners who started with an 8k stack & a 30 min clock. Our hero SageDonkey busted in the 50/100 level unfortunately. These turbos are such that you need to get a great start but he didn't get that so he pick a +EV spot, slightly high variance but alas it didn't pay off.
Charlie T is still in though!!!!! He has about 18k with the ave around 11k and 30 runners left. GOGOGOGOGO Charlie!
Out in 33rd of roughly 45. Very average skill level at my table apart from the Finn who I finished 2nd to in the NLHE turbo. I played all hands perfectly but could hardly win a pot apart from some very small ones. Stack down to 5k from its 8k start. Blinds 50/100 and soon to be 75/150.
After a limper, who is a terrible player (stack 1400), BTN who is an ABC old Dutchman (10k) pots it. I have AA27 suited ace and flat. Short stack shoved and Dutchman repots. I go all in. Although not exactly loving life, I cannot pass in this spot. (I will explain why when I post the full report)
Short stack has AK94 ss. Dutchman has 9TJQds but I have one of his suits. Unfortunately he flops a wrap and then gets instant service on the turn. Of course I am very disappointed but don't worry I will get all of these players in future comps because they are ordinary or value. The Finns are a different proposition but I can live with them and match them.

I joined the €5/€10 PLO cash game afterwards and left with a €1.2k profit after 2 hours. In the game were Kevin McPhee and a Flemish Belgian Pokerstars pro. I also learned yesterday that the Finn who I came 2nd to in the NLHE turbo is the highly rated Kalle Niemi.
Special thanks to Ninjasam for the time and effort he has put into updating the team of backers. I owe him a large drink for this.
On my return I will post a detailed trip report which will include an in depth tournament report of the €300 men's NLHE turbo.
I'll also indicate a rough framework of my 2012 live MTT plans. I think my EFOP and EPT experiences here in France have taken my game another step forward and that I am moving towards bigger and better things in live MTTs. It has also been nice to rubber stamp my edge in cash games.

Just to let everyone know that I have been delayed a day coming back due to the snow and the trains so I won't be playing the £75 PLO at Reigate. I'll refund it plus make up. Charlie T is still due a little money from me for unused buy ins.
Seeing as I am here another day I may play the EPT €100 Hyper Turbo for myself and it will not be part of the package. I'll start processing everyone's payments as soon as I get back.

10k chips, 10 min clock, antes from level 4.
Busted 65th of roughly 85 in a totally standard spot.
Extreme card deadness apart from one pair of 7s that I flatted a raise with when 60bbs deep meant I went down to 8k with the average 12k and blinds 100/200/25.
Lol, French fish slowrollaments.
Just moved table and MP with 15k makes it 575. Next to act 3 bets all in to 4k.
