WPT $1100 Fallsview

Very passive table. A lot of limping preflop. We have seen a few times players have limped with big hands like AK or QQ, etc. But most of the time just random hands.

We have a 60K stack, Villain has 50K (he is newer to the table).

blinds are 1000/1500 w/ 1500 BB ante

Preflop: hero has 87
UTG limps, hero limps in CO, button limps, both blinds check

Flop: J92
Checked around

Turn: 2
Checked around

River: T
3 checks, hero bets 3,000, fold, Sb calls, BB folds, UTG raises to 10,000, hero?

I can't really put UTG on a hand. I don't understand why he would check the river and now decide to check-raise. How would you handle this spot?

I think this is often something like TT/KQ or it's just air. Offered slightly better than 3:1 I probably look him up seeing as I'm not worried about being beat by SB
