From most of my experience in live mtts at $200-500 bi range, people 3bet and 4bet insanely tight in early stages especially if middle aged or older. In a turbo or event with poor structure, I’m fine with stacking off QQ early. If structure is good, I see nothing wrong with folding against the correct player type.
I agree. Will your response change if the 4 bettor is your typical 20-30 male and you have no information on the person given its early stages in the event? I am leaning towards folding given its early and all is deep. Essentially calling or 5 betting is akin to calling a bluff.
