A bit history having part here with the utg having 31 PFR and by the +3 i feel like getting folds from all his pockets and low ace. So the question obviously is.: is a call or (fold) better?. Ofc I am happy that i put him on a pocket but unlucky he had a higher pocket than thought but do you guys think this is a winning play for playing for the win?

Sorry for being blunt but I don't think its possible for any street to be played any worse. KJo performs very poorely vs utg range 9max and we are no where near closing the action, so start by folding pre.

As for the flop, a total of 5 players saw the flop with a raise utg and you think no one has any piece? Dont get out of line or bluff in multiway pots generally speaking.. and why are you drawing to a gutty on a paired board? straight and f draws go down heavily in value on paired boards because we can be drawing thin or dead some % of the time.

I read this as being a three-way hand, where Hero is battling UTG and UTG+3 (aka Hijack) both before and after the flop

Even so, everything that Wowsooooted says is totally true.

Fold preflop. You're behind UTG's range and your implied odds are a mess. Either Villain's range includes stuff that has you dominated, like AJ, KQ and AK, so you're prone to a situation where you win a small pot if you're ahead and lose a large one if you aren't.

Don't get cute on the flop. Yes, UTG+3 made an oddly small bet after everyone else checked, but he's just as likely to do that with a big hand, trying to induce action, as with air. Maybe more so.

Thank you for the answers, and yes it was 3 handed. Guess I was looking for some way to justify the shove haha.

Don’t try to win every hand. It’s ok to fold sometimes. This is one of those times.

Fold pre

Fold flop

Study ranges for calling hj vs utg in 9max

You don’t need c/r range otf in this spot at all.

As played, if you want to bluff, do it when utg checks. One barrel is unlikely to be hugely +ev so I’d bet small otf to induce a float/call with Tx and PPs then bet slightly bigger ott and giving up ui otr. We have small amount of extra fe because hj needs to worry slighly about traps from utg and they both should know our multiway range is tighter than hu. That will make them fold a lot of their bluffcatchers ott. KJ blocks them hard tho.

say hero has some KJs+ combos in his flatting range, that would be my line with them in this spot and KJo isn’t that different here. We are really overbluffing if we have all KQ and KJ as barrels here tho because we should not have that many value hands that like betting flop.

Still fold pre for sure.

Pretty sure you’re behind UTG opening range, and 4 shove stacks behind. Easy fold from your position. On flop +3 had b put in 8k of the 24k he started hand with—if he has any piece he’s not folding. Give if up.
