Your line is okay. With 15 BB it would be the only line you've got, except for folding your way into fifth.

With your slightly larger stack, you could have called, let one of the blinds attempt a squeeze-shove, and then based your action on whether MP opener, with her tight 3-bet ratio, calls or not. She'd then let you know she has a monster and you'd get out of the way with most of your stack still safe.

But that line could blow up in other ways. With you being the smallest stack at the table, you need to double through someone at some point, even with the risk of going broke, and this is not a bad place to try.

If there were a couple tiny stacks left, then you took a misguided risk.

Holy crap BB runs good!

Even though you're the shortie at the table I think this is a flate pre sucks to get sqz but youre not in great shape vs a sqz range anyway. You're not in as good of shape vs the opener's calling range as you may think, you dont havr as much fold equity as you think, there are 3 players left behind who could wake up with a hand. In fact, youre never thrilled when your shove is called, most likely you have one overcard or are already dominated. {AJs} is probably the bottom of my jamming range here, even that might be too loose. And evn if your shove gets through here you win less than 4.5bb, which is less than a fifth your stack, not that great a yield for the risk.

I think im biased bc I busted a (much less lucrative) FT in the exact spot (my villain had {QQ}). But my conclusion then is the same conclusion now: jamming {AT} here was a mistake.
