Fine until river which looks like a blunder

Not checking the turn, not raising river when board pairs and v leads. Probably lose a little less than as played.

Pretty sure turn is very low frequency bet

What are you representing on river? You raised UTG, so are likely to have the ace, not the 9. You should not be raising for value with AK here.

Preflop is OK, but you might be careful how big a percentage you are opening in EP.

He called with T8o - straight.

Honestly I don't see sense in my raise on river (he can have higher flush, full.)
He hit straight on turn, if i would bet and he re-raise i have to call and if he re jams i need to fold?

I think turn can be a check. Definitely better for villains range as he has far more straights, 2p combos, and generally far more pair + draw type hands so fold equity is not very high on the turn - only getting value from some higher FDs and folding a small amount of his backdoor floats like KJss, KTss.

As played river is just a call unless V is stationy and calling off 9x and 2p. Against someone competent, very rarely getting called by worse with the raise as this line looks so nutted and very underbluffed.

Also what I was gonna say is you definitely are losing ev with this half pot sizing otf the 75% is doing a lot better here

While I understand OP had a huge draw, 50% seems pretty big cbetting UTG against the BB on an ace-high flop. BB is folding a high percentage of the time.

This was exactly what I thought as well but when I ran this (with a 45% and 85% sizing) it bet all 87cc for the 85% sizing? Seemed strange since the 7 increasess our equity (but not by enuf to call a check jam) and decreases our implied odds (for the str8.)

Betting 85% gets us to the river with 1.5x pot, which seems very awkward since we really can't shove when we improve. Tried adding a 65% sizing OTT which obv further slowed the output, then I had to leave...such beats...

P.S. Wouldn't be scared of boats...4 combos if villain peels all combos of 97o pre, 1 combo if he folds 97o.

Looks like Turn is a bet and River is a raise...kinda surprised Pio wants to bet 85% OTT then shove river for 1.5x w 87cc but WTF do I know?

*BB's ~47% Defending Range includes (all combos of) 97o.

Yes weird...PIO bluffs a lot on the river.
So small flush bets for value....

I think main dance goes for bluffing A out...mayby you will get Aj to fold

I wonder if T high flush goes for value, which is PIO calling range?

Yeah I guess that makes sense Tbh this hand is really really strong and fits pretty good into a turn betting range. I’d add the 105% size and I’d guess it gets in there too.

A72 rain bow is a lot different than this board and the cbetting strategy is different
