SB/BB: 200/400 ante 100 Table: Ten Handed.
Preflop: Hero is SB with 50k. (AJ)
folds to villain on Button, Bu raises to 800, SB reraises to 2k, BB folds, Bu calls.

Flop: (6000) K 9 3 (2 players)
SB c-bets 2k, Bu raises to 4k, SB calls.

Turn: (14000) 8 (2 players)
SB chks, Bu bets 4k, SB re-raises to 12k, Bu calls.

River: (38000) Q (2 players)
SB bets 15k, Bu tanks a while and calls.

Villian came across fishy due to his post flop min raise tendencies.

Don't have a problem with flop play necessarily. The rest seems terrible

Doesn't look like 2+2 is going to b much of a help. Villian calls down with 22.

Preflop sizing awful. Flop meh. Turn wtf? River just jam, what is this 40% pot bet really? No suits even. No stack sizes for BU/BB. No magic will fix this hand.

This

Hand history doesn't seem real. Both hero and villain are moron fish.

Pre flop size is rly bad
Flop size fine call vs raise is ok/fine/std
Turn looks like a c/f

125 blinds deep we need to make it much bigger pre, Id prob go ~3400 but I know other players like different sizings.

Flop I dont mind calling the minraise if we have a bdfd, but I have no idea what suits any of the cards are, the fact you didnt write them down speaks volumes about the level of thought process here imo.

Just accept that sometimes bad players will beat us in hands - you dont need to force it with 0 equity.

I would like your line if you had 99. Well, postflop, preflop is too small to get a lot of value or fold equity, though it's kind of whatever against bad players and it will push out the bb a lot.

Obviously mindbendingly bad call by your opponent, you could even be bluffing with a better hand, but he will usually have KJ or something and never fold it. Your mistake bluffing into this kind of person. If you do want to bluff for some reason, wager all the chips.

I like to 3-bet 2.5 to 3x more. so 800 + 2000/2400 = 2800/3200. But nowadays the smart guys are betting and raising and c-betting smaller, so who knows. The more things seem to be the same, the more they change.

I sort of agree with this. OP seems to be attacking the hand street by street, not with an overall plan. If I were Villain the bet sizing would have me strongly suspecting that there was some button clicking here on the part of OP.

Villain isn't bad just because he called this river. I've called down plenty of times with a weak hand when the Villains line made no sense and I'm sure you have too. OP's skanky line screams missed draw turned into a bluff. Although Villain's line is also poor and he probably is a fish, that doesn't change how weak OP's line is. Small raise pre, minimal c-bet and no 4- bet of raise on flop, turn big check raise, river bet less than half pot. I could easily see calling of a stack in Villain's position with very little in my hand, just out of confusion about what OP could have that he would play that way.

pre: raise bigger
flop: sizing is meh (would go bigger)
turn: why? (wht is your range? whts V range?)
river:are you reping 99 or 88's? why 3b that small pre with 88 anyway?
To me, looks like you are having fun clicking buttons in this hand instead of applying a strategical approach.
