Heading to Vegas in a couple weeks and plan to play some of the daily $100-150 tournaments they have. I was going to play at the Venetian which guarantees 9k; from what i can see that is the best value there during the slow season. Any thoughts on Caesars Palace or the Aria? What kind of play can i expect to see in these low buyin events? I am currently a 25NL winner and was just wondering what the competition looks like. Any insight would be appreciated.

The aria 110 tournament is one of the best in my opinion just because it's relatively deep stacked and long particularly at that price point, plus nice room.

I've played the Caesars tournaments - fields are often soft but structure isn't the best. If it's between Caesars, Venetian or Aria I'd go with the Aria as it's the best mix of structure, room and value.

The Aria's daily tournament structure is misleading. It skips level 75/100 so when you get down to it, you end up at the same limits as the Venetian's by level 4 but with less starting chips. The Venetian's has a larger average field and a guarantee attached. I think the Aria's rake % is slightly higher, too.

Overall the Venetian's wins by a smidge but it has a $25 higher buy-in if that's a factor for someone's budget.

Aria isn't too bad I tried the $165 tournament and liked it, made it all the way to right before you cashed and I was so drunk that I thought it was a good idea to push 25BB's straight in with no action with AJ and somehow got snapped by A10 of hearts from the BB and he rivered a flush to knock me out. Was literally 2 spots away from cashing. He must've thought I had any 2 cards, but clearly any 2 cards I had in that spot wasn't going to win me the pot.

The Friday night Orleans at 7pm is a good one too. I think it's $130 to get in and usually gets more than 100 runners I believe. If you want something downtown, the Binion's tournament on Saturday afternoon at 1 is $170 and is super soft, but has a painfully slow structure (they have a dinner break ffs).

But if you don't want to leave the strip, Aria is probably your best option for the reasons mentioned above.

You think Binions 10k 1pm Sat is gonna continue? They didn't get enough runners for it last weekend and canceled it...
