$44 50kg on ACR Sunday field , Sitting on 240k at 6/1200 and have been pretty active .
Hero opens 2400 gets MP(110k) flat and button flat(135k)
Flop 233rb, Hero chks for deception obv cbetting decent % of time as well , MP bets 7700 into roughly 9k, Button calls , Hero calls
Turn 6x, Hero Chks, MP bets 25k into roughly 33k with 75k behind , Button Shoves 125k total, on Hero???

Whats our play, I'm ranging MP around 1010 JJ , what are we giving button and what is our play?

Thanks for any feedback in advance!

You didn't check flop to check fold turn. A bit of a nasty spot, but maybe your button is just overplaying a pair.

Raise more preflop. Minraising a 100BB is just so 2010, or whenever that was in vogue. Your opponents are not making the mistake of folding when you give them those odds.

youve got 200 bbs?

this deep people can call with anything just hoping for this scenario: someone has AA and trouble letting go.

with this ^ going on, id say play it somewhat straightforw. when youre 20bbs deep i like this deception way better than with 200bbs.

id say bet flop a decent amount, prob pot control some turns, def vs 2 opp on the turn (and also this turn), and then evaluate river to go for value / call / raise.

you only lost 10k and 230k left in a situation where it is not unreasonable for people to have A3/K3/22/33/66/45.

vs the one player gii is fine cause of the range u specified, vs 2 id say f-it.

Pre is whatever, I think 2.5x is probably better than 2x at these effective stacks but I don't think it's that huge of an error.

I think flop check here isn't bad, opponents only have have 22 and A3 and we block A3 pretty heavily. Our opponents should primarily have broadway cards (which will probably check back and hopefully improve on turn) or smaller pairs (which will very often bet themselves). If we are checking here with AA we'll also want to check when have A3 or 22 ourselves sometimes as well, along with some of our Ax hands that we're trying to get to a cheap showdown. Also very much fine with 1/3-ish pot bet with entire range.

MP can certainly have 54s/66/33/22, maybe a random A3s combo that we don't block. That's 11-13 combos. Button can have those hands too but you'd expect some of the boats to want to flat to try to stack overpairs and straights. It's certainly plausible both players have 77-JJ. If we're giving up AA here we're effectively folding all of our hands other than boats since we may not open 54s.

I think both players having smaller overpairs is a scenario that will happen enough to make this a profitable call, but it's close and kind of gross.

I think sunday_BTN can jam boats for protection having figured both other players have PPs.
Even if its +2bb spot Im not thrilled to put 200 bigs 3way in sunday acr 44, JP.
Slightly tilted Im going for it ))

Edit - 100bb eff. makes it closer, more villain dependent. Id check their graphs.

- reason for checking flop, figure over pairs still value bet themselves , so not missing much there , but by checking I allow the rest of flatting ranges to catch up to 1 pair hands that i can get value from on later streets , and also open up flop bluffs..... that being said I do cbet flop a decent amount of time

-as played , after checking flop , MPs bet is def on the large side and he gets called in 2 spots . So, on the turn he bombs really large again (which is very strong, still over pair heavy range imo tho, along with nutted hands ) , for Btn to now jam essentially committing 100k to MP (he cant assume hes folding much as played ), seems really strong , and i feel nutted hands will make this play to get max value from that range MP is perceived to have .

-I pretty much snap folded tbh , felt like the edge is too big in this field than to call off in a marginal spot vs 2 perceived strong ranges . Its hard to give button any bluffs that aren't complete random spews, and his value range would have to be very strong (fwiw i think he 3bets JJ+ pre a high % of time ) , so that leaves value hands that crush us ....

Thanks for the responses guys , i did see the result (not that it should matter) , i can post if anyone is curious....

MP had 1010 , right where i had him, fwiw i was check/getting it in vs him had button folded ....

Button A5dd , so he did happen to have a random spew/bluff, to top it off he binked case A...

without letting that result effect the turn action, i think folding has to be best.

Thanks!
